Small, cramped diner with the same simple menu - 'sandwich' heavy - for decades. Pecan Pie still worth a slice. Brings back the memories from decades ago. Worth a visit if you are in the area and if you do NOT go at prime times - Weekend mornings.

Wow, the omelets were great....bigger than the plate...price $7.99 with hashbrowns. There was a short line, but we only waited a few minutes.

Burger was fresh and hot, not the best I ever had but it was good. Place was crowded and not dark or seedy, fries average. Fast and friendly for sure

Camellia Grill is great - whether you're waiting in line at 9 AM for breakfast or stumbling in at 1 AM for a late night burger and fried mac n' cheese. You can't go wrong! The food is good of course, but you go for the service - don't forget to fist pump and tip your waiter!

While in Louisiana, of course we had to have breakfast, well more like brunch for us....lol. We found out about this place and decided to give it a try. Luckily this place was very easy to locate. However, we were almost discouraged because of the line to get in the place, but that meant to us that the food had... More

So my 5 year old at the time had the Cheeseburger with grilled onions, dressed with a dab of chili, Chili Cheese Fries and a Chocolate Freeze and Marvin the best waiter in the city. After, with a glazed look says, "Dad was this the best restaurant in the World? I SAID, why yes Dear. In some sense, why yes,... More

So just got back from NOLA and this was our last restaurant while in the city. A couple we met at the Beyonce concert recommended this to us. We were staying near the French Quarter so we went to THE GRILL (same as Camellia Grill). My husband had the chef's omelette and I played it safe with a waffle and... More

If you are looking for a restaurant with a local flair, this is a great place. It is a short order restaurant where you walk in and find the hostess seated immediately to your right. Your are directed by her to you seat where you are greeted by a jovial waiter. Seating is limited, but the atmosphere and the workers... More

Well this is Breakfast NOLA style! Straight up the best place to eat a morning meal in the entire Big Easy I'd post a picture but it'd be much better for me just to tell you to hop on the St. Charles line from Canal Street and get thee to Camellia's and EAT!
