We took the streetcar from Royal and Canal to Camellia Grill. We enjoyed the ride, then we really enjoyed our experience at Camellia Grill. Marvin is fantastic, food is terrific. Our children had a great time. We caught the street car back with no issues or delays. It is in a lovely part of the city! more

Camellia Grill is a throw-back to drug store dining at the counter, but no drug store ever served up the food that the Grill does. The pecan waffle was a delight and the omelets were huge (topped with chili made them even bigger). We went on a weekday and waited only a few minutes for a spot at the counter.... more

My wife and I have been to New Orleans several times. Camellia Grill has become a mandatory stop. This is an old fashioned diner that looks like it has not changed in a few decades.
