A wonderful little restaurant in the French Quarter. Be prepared to wait a while for a table but it's worth the wait. The soft shell crab is delicious as is the roasted tomato salad. Irene is from Sicily and always around.

This is the third time we've eaten at Irene's for a special occasion. The food is spot on every time. The Irene Oysters are great. The filets are cooked to perfection. Bread pudding is everything!

We were told to go to Irene's by several locals and boy were they right. The service was wonderful, food was delicious, atmosphere very fun. Just be prepared to wait. Even though we had reservations we waited close to an hour.

What can I say but I had one of the best meal here. I am sure you had your share of disappointments with restaurants highly recommended by others. I highly doubt that this place will disappoint you. A local recommended this restaurant to our group when we were visiting his gallery. We were so glad that he did! Another great meal was had by all. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was perfectly prepared.

Irene's was recommended by our hotel desk and was a short walk from the hotel at 8pm. Save your Thursday night, with is Osso Buco night at Irene's. The food was wonderful, the waiter was great (and well seasoned), and the dessert cheese cake really was the best we have had outside of New York. Give this one a try.

Irene's was recommended to us by locals who live there and know good food. We did not have a reservation to went early, put our name on the list for 8:30 and then got cocktails elsewhere. It was very busy, but the wait staff made you feel like you were the only ones there. Food was great... There were four of us and not one complaint about any of the meals, menu seems to change but we order the filet and lasagna x2 and veal. All great choices.
