One of the best in Nola!

This restaurant is a favorite. Fantastic variety of food choices and they're all amazing! So hard to choose between the soft shell crab and the duck! Don't miss this if you are visiting Nola -- you won't be disappointed and it's worth the wait!

First visit to Irene's and it was fantastic. I had the filet special for the evening and my wife had the meniere amandine and both were incredible. We also had an appetizer of crawfish au gratin (again, fantastic). Our waiter, Orlando, did an unbelievable job and treated us to a special anniversary treat of chocolate and champagne with strawberries, at... More

I go to Irene's a few times a year and it is always a treat! Best plan of attack is get there when they open and get the first seating. You will never be rushed through your meal and absolutely everything is perfectly prepared and the waitstaff are outstanding. You know you are near Irenes as you can smell it's... More

This was the best meal my husband and I had while in NOLA. I know you don't think of Italian when you think of NOLA but we were pleasantly surprised. I had a chicken dish that was on special - topped with crawfish. DELISH. The seating is a little tight but we got in right away. The wait staff is... More

Irene's is a one-of-a-kind experience and our server Daniel made it even more memorable. We highly recommend the lamb chops, fish almandine, grouper and soft shell crab. It is suggested to arrive early 6pm or so on weekends because this place rocks and it doesn't take long for all the tables to get filled.

The food here was very delicious and the ambience nice, however I didn't find the food quantity satisfying. I left feeling hungry, and I had a salad, appetizer, entree and dessert. The wait staff was good and attentive. It is a nice place to eat, maybe have a snack before you go.

I had the pleasure of dining at Irene's last Tuesday evening as a recommendation from the staff at Hotel Provincial. The interiors are quite amazing and eye catching and every wall nook and area tell a story. The menu is particular but varied enough to tempt and please most palettes. As a Pescatarian the Almond fish was delicious and the... More
