Definitely make reservations. The waiters and staff were all incredibly apologetic that we had to wait a bit for the table, but the wait is well worth it. Every dish that we ordered was excellent. The sauces and spices were just perfect. And definitely leave room for desert! This is absolutely on my list to come back to next time... More

We only went here after walking out another restaurant not far away and asking a passer by where to find a half decent feed. All I can say is "very impressed" . From the moment we entered we were made to feel extremely welcome. Our waiter was was a friendly and the food was exceptional. Highly recommended. If you go... More

We had a wonderful meal here going there after being recommended by a local. I had the muscles to start and they were in the best tomato sauce I have ever tasted . Well worth a visit

Visited 6 years ago and was definitely worth a return visit during our short trip to NOLA. Staff is extremely courteous and attentive. Had duck entree (1st time having duck) and would not hesitate to order it again. Husband ordered meatball appetizer and said he would lick the bowl if he could. Then had lasagna and cleaned that dish too.... More

Irene's hides behind a very nondescript, well-maintained facade. But don't be fooled: this restaurant is definitely worth visiting. The service was good from friendly staff and the food was delicious. While I wouldn't say this was the best meal I had in New Orleans, it was definitely very good and the restaurant's intimate atmosphere made the experience. It is small... More

How many different ways can you say OVERRATED!!!?? Very disappointed-- serve OK, not freindly at all- we wanted to have a cocktail - never asked- never asked for beverage choice at dinner-- food mediocre-- Overpriced-- Too many other choices in New Orleans to be sucked into this tourist trap!!

The wait was 45 minutes on a Friday night. Our hotel concierge told us that they did not take reservations so we ambled over to try our luck. The waiting area had live piano music so we did enjoy that. Once seated we received delightful french bread Crusts with mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. But only one each. The soft shell... More

A true New Orleans Italian/Creole treat in the French Quarter. Food is excellent. Service is also excellent. No reservations. Often busy. Recommend arriving before or near opening time to avoid a wait. A recommended dining option for visitors to NO as well as locals

Great dinner although my fish was slightly dry. My family had the soft shell crab and said it was fantastic. The boys had the filet mignon which was quite good.

Their Lamb a´la Provence are the best I ever tasted and the service is top notch, but the illumination in the restaurant is almost not excisting, it´s a very dark room. Ask for a candle and you are good. This is a very popular place so expect some waiting time.
