The food is amazing, service impecable. We had a blast in the bar listening to the wonderful piano player.
Second time here and it didn't disappoint again. A wonderful staff that is only topped by the food and atmosphere. This place feels like New Orleans. You HAVE to try this place if you've never been.
It has been years since I have been here, mostly because I hate to wait for a table. I bit the bullet and made a 7:30 reservation on a Monday night, but as expected, I did have to wait for a table. However that is something to be expected when the food is so good. This is a very small... More
I have lived in NOLA, visited many times since leaving, and hadn't heard of Irene's until this past week. Its an unadvertised restaurant, known only yo locals and word of mouth. We have been to New Orleans a number of times and eaten at a lot of good restaurants but this one tops our list right now and will be very hard to displace as number one! First let me say that it is very unassuming from the exterior and might be missed if you are not looking for it. Inside... More
We had a fantastic meal here at on a Monday night. Restaurant was crowded and no reservations available but we walked in and got a table in 30 minutes. Well worth the wait and the $ as it is expensive. If you are going to treat yourself in Nola this is the place.
We found Irene's while walking around the French Quarter. Menu sounded delicious and we made a reservation. Definitely make reservations if you want to eat at Irene's. We started with a an app of The Ricotta and Spinach Ravioli's which were very tasty. Every table also was given a complimetary brusetta and it was delicious. There were 4 of us... More
My son had eaten here on a previous trip and raved about it so we tried it. Reservations are a must though. We only waited a few minutes and were treated to excellent service from the very start. We all ordered something different and it was all sublime. Every dish excellent and wonderfully presented.
Oh, Irene, you have something so good in New Orleans! It's your food and service! We recommend that readers get a reservation and go to Irene's when you're yearning for something a little different in NOLA. Many of those other eateries are very good but for Italian food, this is excellent. Four of us had four different dishes and they... More
