We had a great meal here, four of us from out of town. The sweet basil gnocchi and Louisiana Drum were delicious, and my table mates said the duck confit with waffles and roasted salmon were fabulous and flavorful as well. The service was great, we were never left wanting for anything. Our server (I THINK his name was David?... More

Our party of 4 had a great dining experience. We were seated upstairs in the room to the front of the restaurant. It was a little tight for seating with a full waitstaff weaving through. Also made for a lively (loud) environment but no problems for conversation. Other rooms may have offered a quieter area. We had the crab remick,... More

I wanted to go to an Emeril's, not expecting much, just thinking since I was in NOLA, I should go to an Emeril's. Delmonico is his steak house. It is low key and elegant. The service was amazing; it was great, and the servers had great personality. It was great without being overbearing. The food was incredible. The Worcestershire sauce... More

It is very good food bathed in wonderful sauces, my mouth is watering just rembering the dishes. But great food is made only better with this excellant level of service they make seem effortless.

Let me say this first, the service is fantastic and very accomidating! We had 2 tables with a combined 18 people or so. We thought that they were going to make one long table upstairs, but we were wrong. It kind of made mingling a bit tough considering it is a pretty snug space we were in. Even with the... More

I've been to a couple of Emeril's restaurants and they were nice. But this place really impressed us. The food was excellent, which may not be a surprise. The service went beyond excellent!

We went the first time on a Saturday and had impeccable service, great food, and a really awesome experience. Because it was so great, we went back again with our friends on a Tuesday night. The experience Tuesday wasn't bad, but it was not nearly as engaging as Saturday. I highly recommend the drum, it was one of the best... More

We ate here recently, we got here earlier than our reservation, but were seated immediately. Our servers were excellent, the menu was explained well and had a good variety. The gumbo was great, would definitely recommend trying it. Our main courses were good, although a little more seasoning would have been good. We will return here or one of Emerils... More

One of our favorite restaurants in Austin, Texas is called "The French Quarter Grill". After telling my wife that we would go to the French Quarter for her birthday, I secretly made airline and hotel and dinner reservations in New Orleans. For dinner, I chose Emeril's Delmonico. The ambiance, the service and especially the food were the best that either... More

Staying in Garden District

Neighborhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
