Description: Located on the famed St. Charles street car line in the lower Garden District, Emeril’s Delmonico has been a New Orleans tradition since 1895. Today, Chef de Cuisine Anthony Scanio continues Chef Emeril Lagasse’s signature style of “New New Orleans” cuisine, while adding influences from the diverse cultures that helped shape the Creole tradition. On the menu, it’s not uncommon to find ingredients from the Caribbean islands, such as crisp plantains, along side more classic Creole dishes to create a wholly unique dining experience. You’ll find New Orleans originals, such as oysters Bienville and fresh fish meuniere, as well as new favorites—a chorizo-stuff pork loin, dry-aged duck breast, and of course, sumptuous, dry-aged steaks. Delmonico features nightly starters, soups, entrée, and dessert specials and a seasonally changing menu based on local and regionally available meats and produce.

Nice atmosphere, but rather loud dining room. Food was great and service was more than acceptible. No complaints other than the loudness of the dining room.

Ordered steak medium; came out raw. Asked for medium. Waited 5 - 10 minutes. Got it back. Still extremely rare and unedible for me.

We called last minute for seating and they accommodated us. We were seated upstairs...not sure if another part of the facility is nicer, but the decor was a serious disappointment. Carpet squares, boring brown walls, folding tables, and chairs showing their age (not at all what I expected when paying good money for dinner). Also, the shutters overlooking the street... More

A great experience: well worth the visit during your time in The Big Easy. A beautiful space, wonderfully crafted drinks, attentive service, and a menu worthy of any foodie. The small plates themselves could provide a satisfying and complete meal: but why stop there?!

This was our second time at Delmonico’s. The first time we came here we were absolutely blown away by it. It was hard to imagine better service or food. In fact, we had the best steaks that we’d ever eaten. I cannot call our second dinner here a letdown, but unfortunately it didn't quite live up to the incredible memory... More

Although the food was good and the service was attentive, the ambiance was kind of flat and boring. To much brown not enough color. We have been to other Emril restaurants. This one needs sprucing up.

If the food had been as good as the service, there may not be a better restaurant anywhere. From the hostess to the bar and on to our table the staff is excellent, knowledgeable about there product, and truly on point. The food, however, was not. I really expected a superior meal and what I got was pretty much the... More

Impeccable service, excellent cuisine. My 5th Emeril's and possibly the best. A noisy "board meeting" (that's what they called it - IRS, take notice) in an adjacent private room subtracted from the experience, but overall outstanding.

We've had better entrees. The Rib Eye was disappointing in it's taste and quality. We expected over the top flavors and quality, but did not encounter them.
