Food and service were amazing. Make a reservation or it may be a long wait. Food was very fresh and wonderfully prepared. We had tuna appetizer and it was amazing. I had fish for dinner which tasted great. Portion was small for me but Made up for that with taste. Wife had a shrimp dish and it must have been... More

We had dinner here to celebrate my husband's thirtieth birthday and it did not disappoint! The staff was so nice and they made a big fuss over his birthday and the food was off the charts. There were four people in our party and we all ordered something different. Each dish was absolutely delicious. This was hands down the best... More

Highly recommend. Great food and even better service. It's a packed place so make reservations. The seafood and steak is wonderful. I loved the Salty Malty ice cream pie for dessert. Oh and great wine list!

Searched Urban Spoon and TripAdvisor looking for someplace different to eat. We order the Lobster Dumpling and BBQ Shrimp as starters. One person ordered the Scallops. Another the Scalibut (a house special). Both plates were spectacular. Don't remember the third dish ordered. Skipped dessert for Cafe Du Monde.

We went to New Orleans for our 25th wedding anniversary and chose GW FIns as our anniversary restaurant. When we made the reservation we let them know it was our anniversary. When we arrived and were taken to our table, they had sprinkled heart shaped confetti down the center of the table and had printed out and tied with a... More

There are 6 tables in the back room and you can hear everything quite easily. The main dining area on a busy night (always) can be quite loud. Our waiter, Marlon is one of the best waiters we have had ever had. Every dish was explained in great detail and the entire dining experience was one to remember. My blackened... More

We had an absolutely great meal. I had the swordfish and my husband had the Chilean sea bass. Both were prepared perfectly. The yellowfin tuna crude appetizer was fresh and delicious. Service was as good as we had heard it would be. A definite go back to!

Spent a 4 day weekend with the kids in New Orleans. In search of GOOD food. GW Fins was such a welcome surprise. We go often and have our favorites, but had never tried Fins. What a mistake. Food was awesome, especially the Lobster Dumplings. (Hope they send me the recipe). Waiter was awesome. I think his name was Tim.... More

GW Fins serves creative seafood based on seasonal fresh ingredients. All dishes we had was good, I recommend Scalibut a clever combination of scallops, halibut and lobster. Service is spot on. Good atmosphere. It's worth the money!
