GW Fins is truly an amazing place. We visited, for our 1st time, tonight for my annual birthday dinner in New Orleans. All the staff took the extra step to make me feel special and always had great suggestions on how to compliment our experience. It's a MUST VISIT for anyone coming to New Orleans.

The food is delicious & I especially recommend the scalibut which is their specialty. It's a combination of Scallops & Halibut served over lobster risotto. The service was good and food prepared as ordered. The atmosphere is a little noisy & would recommend reservations due to its popularity. I definitely would recommend it if you love seafood.

Absolute best food, best service, we cannot say enough about this restaurant. Our server, Shawn, was just the best, along with the two different Manager's working in the dining room on Wednesday, November 19th. Food was excellent. It was our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we each had a dessert, the bread pudding and the Nanilla dessert. Both were excellent. If... More

We arrived two hours early thinking we could perhaps sneak a table early. Nope. This place is hopping and there is literally someone waiting for a no show or other opportunity all the time. A reservation is a must. Staff was friendly enough about it and invited us to wait in the bar. Fabulous bar, friendly - friendly staff. Ordered... More

Excellent service..good food..Pricey... We all (4) enjoyed our meals. We had the lobster dumplings, crab won tons, BBQ shrimp, halibut, scallops, cream brulee. Great drop biscuits (gratis)! Only real criticism..$11 for a glass of house wine is a bit much. Other than that, it was a nice dinner.

Very nice! Busy place , but not a problem. When everybody is having fun and enjoying their meal, it's a good thing! Wait staff was on top of our needs without being in the way. Overall good feel about the place, even with the huge amount of customers.

The 4 of us dined here and we each tried something different and were not disappointed with our meals. Seafood was fresh and preparation was superb! I loved the Scalibut. Our waitress was on top of our every need and she made excellent decisions for us! The meals are quite pricey, but hey! We're on vacation. There is a full... More

when there are lines everywhere this is a great place to eat. The restaurant is large and can accommodate large groups. Fast service with fresh food makes this a good lunch or dinner stop.

Dinner there was amazing! Our server, Allen, (not sure how to spell his name... he was originally from Queens..) was wonderful... Note that it is hard to get a reservation there.... we called day of intended visit and were told the earliest reservation was 9;45. Went online to OpenTable and they showed an opening at 9:15. We arrived a bit... More
