Absolutely the best

We did not make a reservation, but were able to find a spot near the bar, so we ate there. Drinks are strong and superb- ordered Three fins. We ordered lobster dumplings, which was heaven in every bite. The sea scallops with mushroom risotto was very good. We also ordered mashed sweet potatoes with... read more

Service was great and the food was very good. Had the seared yellowtail and it was delicious. Nice dessert too.

We loved our food (our table ordered mostly seafood), but eating there on a Monday night led to a couple of items not being offered.

Chef Flynn is a longstanding success in NOLA, went with customers and did not disappoint. Very energetic and open layout, food was great as it has been on many visits. Always updating menu to the best available in season and tailoring it too the fins crowd. Front of the house can sometimes be slow and snarky, but nine times out... More

What a grand dining experience orchestrated by Manager Rod Soldani. His service staff was professional, courteous, and extremely efficient in their delivery. I had some of the best seafood gumbo ever and the lobster risotto was fabulous. The crusted red snapper was fresh and superbly prepared. The center of the plate presentation was also very good. Don't forget to order... More

I thought this place was great! I was surprised to see some of the poor reviews but it seemed as if they were mostly regarding reservations. We walked in off the street, chilled at the bar for a bit and were able to get a table after about 20-30 minutes. The bartenders were super nice and very talkative. Through their... More

The restaurant was very busy on this Thursday night and we waited with drinks in the bar area for over 30 minutes for a table. We actually came in at a good time (6ish) because many patrons came in after us and had a much longer wait time. After being seated at a table in the bar area, our waiter... More

Superb NO fish restaurant. Elegant atmosphere, super fresh fish. And the best side dish in. NO....Bourbon banana vanilla flavored sweet potatoes. A dessert, but a side dish. We had the snapper and the drum. No disappointments here. Service was Five Spoons too.

My wife and I recently spent a chilly, wet week in New Orleans, but the food, service, and ambiance of GW Fins was a highlight both evenings we dined in the restaurant. The establishment truly runs like a well oiled machine from the minute one walks in the door, to ordering and having the food served. Everything is top notch... More
