GW Fins was recommended by friends from New Orleans. We went for the summer fixed-price special ($35 for 3 courses). The ambiance is quiet and super classy. The service was amazing, from the hostesses to the head waiter to the "biscuit ninja." And what delicious food! I had the crab and mushroom potstickers, a lovely filet of pink snapper, and... More

My wife, myself and my two sisters dined here at the end of June. The receptionists were very helpful in getting a booking and the food was exceptional. The only down side was the waiter who found it difficult to bend at the waist to take one of my sister's orders. She is seventy and is not too voluble. In... More

This restaurant is the best for great fresh fish and wonderful service! Just off of Bourbon Street and within walking distance to anything in the French Quarter. We've been before and the same waiter remembered us! Nice to know they are into the details! The Salty Malty desert is to die for!! We get it every time!

This place is a gem among the worn out restaurant scene in N.O. Classy without being pretentious with out a doubt the best meal we have had in town in years. Crabcakes, and pork belly starters are mind boggling good and lobster dumplings not bad either. All four main dishes outstanding as well, especially house creation of "scalibut". Service too... More

We stopped by on a Monday night and were able to get a table after just a couple minutes' wait - which apparently the wait was for them to deck out our table with a personalized printed menu and confetti to celebrate our anniversary! We were so pleased that they spent time in that little detail because it made our... More

A great dinner from start to finish. Our group of four enjoyed a lovely meal here. We started with the pork belly and barbecue shrimp. Entrees included GW Fins signature scalibut, swordfish, blue fin tuna and braised short ribs. Everything was delicious. The service could not have been better. We can't wait to visit NOLA so we can eat here... More

The meal started great and started going downhill. We started with very delicious appetizers: escarole crude and pork belly - so good. Entrees were just ok though: grouper and cobia, nothing special! The dessert made us angry! A small amount of fault is with us for not noticing the quote around soufflé, turned out to be a frozen ice cream... More

Be sure to get a reservation for here your next visit to the French Quarter! The seafood selection is amazing and everything is fresh - the menu changes daily. Not only is the meal great, so is the presentation of the meal and the atmosphere of this restaurant. I recommend the Red Snapper or the scallops.

Yes this place is a five! Had lobster dumpling & soft shell crab. They were both good but u could expekt a little form from the dumplings. The Scalibut & yellow fin tuna was some of the best dishes ever!
