Ask for Tabitha-she's energetic and very knowledgeable about the food and wine. I had the pork belly and watermelon appetizer-totally fantastic, my husband the soft shell crab-we loved both! My husband had the lobster risotto, brussel sprouts with the famed signature dish of Scalibut and I had the Rare Yellowtail Tuna as an entree which was like sashimi and a... More

Four of us were dining. and we were seated in a relatively private area where it was possible to hold a conversation. This was especially appreciated by me, since I have a hearing problem. The ambience was charming, and the wait staff extremely efficient and friendly. And the restaurant is so clean! The menu choices were delicious, and very attractrively... More

The selection and respectful preparation of fish is amazing! My favorite is the poached Chilean sea bass poached in lobster broth. The lobster dumplings are a great appetizer. freshest fish both local, regional, and from around the world.. Sides are enough for sharing. Love the sweet potatoes and addictive biscuits.

As a rule, we don't do big restaurants. However, the reviews of this restaurant could not be ignored. We were there with reservations on Sunday nite after a hometown victory by the Saints. We waited 30 minutes before being seated. The waiter was very professional, but a bit "haughty" and never really connected with us. The food, however, was mostly... More

Just a few yards off bourbon street and you find an upscale dining room with a changing menu. We were with a group seeking seafood which we do not eat. Even the non-seafood dishes were top notch. The pork chop can't be missed!

This restaurant was suggested to us by the concierge at our hotel during a stay in New Orleans prior to Hurricane Katrina. We loved it then, and returned this month for the first time since then. My idea of a great restaurant is consistent quality. I don’t know how many times we have had a really good meal at a... More

We were searching and searching for a place open on Mother's Day evening, and this was actually our last resort. To our surprise it was fantastic! Even without a reservation, the wait was minimal. We thought it was more of a touristy place, but the food was original and delicious! The scallop appetizer was amazing! The service was excellent as... More

I can only echo what so many others have said. My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary and my birthday at GW Fins last night. Our personalized menus were a nice touch. I'm a sucker for crab so the crab cake appetizer was a must. My wife had the blackened swordfish and I had the Parmesan Drum with crab... More

This is a New Orleans gem. We went here for our first anniversary and the service was impeccable. Our waiter ask us if we were celebrating a special occasion and we told him it was our first anniversary. We received a special anniversary note in chocolate along with dessert and an anniversary scroll with the days menu...and the food is... More

Please note, I never sat at a table at this restaurant. We never got the chance to try their food, since our reservation was cancelled by the restaurant. I read in another review that this was done, and thought nothing of it. I had the option of making a reservation for 10:30 or 11:00 PM, and chose the 10:30 time... More
