Was recommended by folks we met that were locals. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and watching out food made in front of us. Tasty and not expensive.

By no means is this the Palm Court.... nor is it Adelaide or any other diner where the waiters are considerate. It was a cold fall night. I had a few drinks with some friends. I came in (mind you, I live in New Orleans, I come here every week) and the sense of hostility of the waiter (who acted... More

I was in New Orleans with my husband and son and daughter-in-law. They all went for a bike ride and I didn't want to go. I went to the Clover Grill by myself. Great, regular breakfasts and lunches. It's not fancy but it was comfort food to me and I feel so safe and cozy in this place. The servers... More

If you are a tourist to America like me, the trip won't be complete without a visit to an all American diner and Clover Grill is the best one I went to. So good I came here twice. The burger and fries are excellent as well as the fried chicken steak. The staff are friendly and the service is good.... More

We went here for breakfast this morning. The door on Bourbon Street is locked. The address is on Bourbon St. Why would you lock the door without a notice stating to use the other door? I found that a little ridiculous. But if you are looking for some grease with your breakfast, this is the place to be! I had... More

We went here after a long evening of drinking on Bourbon. Our taste buds, at that point in time, had no standards. I ordered an omelet with some hash browns and toast - which was rapidly presented to me. The crowd was pleasant, the place intimate with fluorescent lights killing my buzz. The food was an average 4/10 diner food.... More

We stayed at the Biscuit Palace across the street from the Clover Grill. This is the epitome of a greasy spoon and should be enjoyed for what it is. We ended up eating here twice over the course of a 3 day weekend. The food is good, the waiters are sweet and sour, and the price is on the lower... More
