Good eats late at night but does get crowded. The hub cap burger is good to try and so is the club sandwich.

Another old place where the locals eat (but all I saw were tourists). Place was packed at 11 am and 11 pm. I got the last seat at the counter, waited about 10 minutes to have my order taken. Had egg, bacon and taters for $9.00. Small place - about 6 tables and another 10 seats at the counter. Food... More

Before calling it a night in the Quarter, we stopped at the Clover Grill. Perfect segue for a long night that wasn't nearly over yet!

The food wasn't the greatest, the service was pretty average, the bathroom is out back and it is like a 50's dive diner... and for some reason we were really into that at probably what had to have been 3 am... Loved the experience for its grimy, been in New Orleans and did that memories! Close to Bourbon and good... More

Went here for lunch on an anniversary getaway and spent that night sitting or hugging the toilet. I will NEVER go back!

While visiting the French Quarter, my daughter & I asked a local where to get a great burger. We were directed to the Clover Grill & we were not disappointed in the least. We both had a "build your own burger" with the juicy, hang over the edge of the bun patties, grilled onions & a thick slice of cheese...truly,... More

If you want to be a real New Orleanean after a night of over indulging Clover Grill is it... No , it's not fine Cajun specialties. It's not Anything other than what it is.... A local spot where we can get away from the drunk tourist and foodies who think that they belong when they are here. If it were... More

This place is nothing fancy, but the food was good. It's very small--- only seats about 28 people. It's like stepping back in in time-- eat right at the counter. We went mid-morning while Bourbon street was still very quiet.

Don't expect fancy - but if you want cheap food, quirky service, coffee refills and lots of interesting people come here! We ate breakfast here twice and both times the food was good and tasty and filling (and cheap)! If you're a snob don't bother !!
