First off, loved the atmosphere. The restaurant is in an old house. It is decorated in funky colors, and even the ceiling is covered in artwork! You have to walk THROUGH the kitchen to get to the back dining area, but that was actually very cool. And the food--everything we tried--was wonderful. I won't even go into what all we... More

Had dinner here last night. It was everything we hoped for. We had the stuffed shrimp, boudain balls, and egg plant for apps. We wanted to try a little of everything. All were wonderful. Husband had the rabbit and I had the blackened red fish again both were wonderful. The waist staff was great, loved the quirky atmosphere. Will def... More

Went based on recommendation of a clerk at the credit union we stopped at to get Jazzy passes! Glad we listened. We got lucky as we went on a Tuesday evening and were seated promptly. We were greeted instantly by a server who explained they tag team here and while you have a server designated to your table all the... More

Food is great, service is great. Lots of shellfish dishes but they are very accommodating to those of us with allergies. Loved the quirky décor.

Classic NOLA without the high prices. If you had to pick one restaurant in the area this is it. The crawfish grits are not to be missed. Plan ahead this place is busy and for good reason! Excellent wine and beer selections.

Our party of five made a reservation for 9:00, and even at that hour, the place was packed, there were people spilling out the door waiting, and the place was rocking. The shrimp and alligator sausage cheesecake is their signature appetizer, and incredibly yummy. The gumbo is awesome, well, everything on the menu is tasty with bright colorful flavor. The... More

We arrived around 7pm mid-week and were greeted with a 2 hour wait. This place was packed! Fortunately, there's a cool little bar next door called the Maple Leaf Bar where we hung out and grabbed a drink while we waited for our table. Once we were finally seated, the wait staff was fantastic and even brought over a free... More

Arrived for dinner at opening and 10 minutes later, entire restaurant was full! Understand why too!!! Service and food was excellent! Menu was so versatile and delicious sounding, wanted to order everything! Had shrimp and alligator cheesecake -absolutely delicious, melts in your mouth! Next was snapper and stuffed pork chop- oh my gosh, both delicious! Then creme brûlée and coconut... More

We had to work to get to this place, but it was so worth it! About a 10 minute cab ride from our hotel in the French Quarter, we were excited to try lots of "legit" cajun food. Boy did we :) Boudin Balls = heaven My friends and I tried lots of things on the menu including the "Shrimp... More
