Nestled in a renovated pharmacy warehouse on Tchoupitoulas Street in the heart of the city's Warehouse District, Emeril's interior features rustic exposed brick and glass walls flanking one side of the main dining room, with plaster-lathe wood forming a wine wall on the other. Guests may enjoy watching the action in the kitchen while enjoying a meal at the chef's Food Bar.

This is a little bit different and not for everybody but we love it. At the food bar, you get to watch the chefs in action. They made hundreds of dishes while we had our dinner. Someone in your group will be sitting next to a stranger and sometimes new friends can be made. I had the Andouille and Boudin... More

We were staying at the Renaissance Hotel at 700 Tchoupitoulas St. so Emeril's was a short walk from the hotel. I had a steak on the first trip there for an evening meal and a pork chop on the second. Both were cooked to perfection and had the right combination of spices to satisfy my palate. I also liked the... More

We had the mussels the sauce was interesting and ok but the mussels were small and like our local pizza restaurant nothing great. The salad with Caesar dressing was ok but not great the romain lettuce was cut like a topical chain restaurant tasted ok but not great. The shrimp dish was tasty but was filled with pasta and corn... Interesting, this was supposed to be a highlight but the food was good but not exciting. Not a cheap place but not too expensive, a lack of imagination with the food. Loud and noisy when it is busy. We had the stuffed chicken wings, which were Ok but not great. The sauce was nice but the wings were dry. We... More

We went for dinner on Weds evening, 12/10, and enjoyed our meal. Angel hair/crawfish appy very good. Pork chop entree delicious, drum entree also very good, though side of shoestring potatoes were an odd accompaniment. Cocktails yummy. Absolutely save room for the banana cream pie. Our only issue was that on night we went, there was a very, very loud... More

Innovative menu with superior service in a beautiful setting. When a restaurant spends as much time keeping its window and door clean you are usually rewarded with all of the rest being above average. I visit here at least once per year depending on how many trip to NOLO we make.

We go to Emeri's every year for the past 12 years because the staff is friendly, the food excellent, and the standards always set above the norm. We love sitting where we can briefly talk to the kitchen crew and watch everything going on. It's still a little pricey, but well worth it when we look at comparable places in... More

Really outstanding. What a nice surprise :) We picked the wine paring menu (68 + 50 pp): Baked oysters, cod stew & pork belly, everything was fantastic. Dished are well executed and presented. I was expecting local (American) wine, but The french they offered are very nice too. Expensive, but certainly one of my best dinners of the year.

My wife and I went here for dinner on our honeymoon; she called and made reservations, and told them what we were celebrating. We used a honeymoon registry (people paid for meals and hotels instead of gifts), meaning the bill wasn't coming out of our pockets. That helped. We were seated next to a gigantic wine rack that served as... More
