Very friendly service

Enjoyed the 5 course tasting meal accompanied by 4 wine pairings at the Chef's table. Jerry, the sous chef preparing the food in front of us, was an efficient professional, churning out a succession of perfectly plated meals the whole time. The food was good but I felt a bit overpriced. Atmosphere was very nice though. Saw numerous New Orleans Saints players there if your into that sort of thing,

Visiting NOLA which meant that a visit to one of Emeril's original restaurants was a must. We finally, after several coin tosses chose the original. After this experience it is easy to see how Emeril got his cachet. Easily in the top 3 if not the best meal I've ever had, and I am not just talking food. Firstly, I... More

overrated. Food was good but not great. Gumbo was way better at the Grand Isle. We shared the fried chicken across 4 of us. All you got was chicken no sides. The service was excellent! Waiters were the best. Restaurant was loud and not in a fun way. Way too many other places near I would go instead.

The food at Emerils was delicious and the resturant is beautiful. However, we went in for lunch, and when we entered there were very few other people. We ordered fairly quickly and had our drinks brought to us quickly, but our food took at least 45 minutes to come out. Another couple came in after we had already ordered our... More

We unknowingly booked our reservations on the 25th anniversary of the restaurant. The staff that greeted us were not the most friendly or helpful. On the other hand, our wait staff were wonderful, the food was very good and the overall experience was enjoyable.

The food was fabulous, and the service was beyond our experience, but they made it fun even for kids, and the noise indicated other customers were enjoying themselves. Bam!

Well I walked in with such high expectations. This is Emeril's for goodness sake. Started with some shrimp in brown gravy as an app. Uh, why were these shrimp so dinky. The sauce was kinda brown and bland too. I ended up with a swordfish which was so overcooked I needed a sword to cut it. Placed over a Greek... More

Great meal, excellent service, service takes a few hours so it's a long meal for families with small kids.

6 of us in for a late dinner on a Wednesday night. Easy walk over from Canal Street. Very nice atmosphere, attentive staff and the fact we were tourists in shorts and t shirts did not effect the experience. Double cut pork chop on sweet potatoes was very good, others had fish, shrimp, etc. and all pleased with what they... More
