Great Lunch

We only three evenings in New Orleans, we decided to have lunch at Emeril's. It was a great experience. The service and food was great. We walked to the WWII museum after lunch.

My wife and I had dinner with a group. We got off to a mediocre start with the salads. My wife ordered the Emeril's salad which is supposed to have sun dried tomatoes. There were no sun dried tomatoes to be found. I had the "Chopped Romaine" which was average at best. My entree was the "Hot Iron Shrimp 'N'... More

3 of us had the pork chop with sweet potatoes, I also had Emeril's house salad......unbelievable. Everything was so good. Another in our party of 4 had the rib eye........fantastic. Everything was top notch. Our reservation was for 8.....it was the only place that we were at that actually kept the reservation time......we were seated at 8.......incredible!!! There is a... More

Business dinner here had a lot of potential but didn't really live up to it. Presentation of dishes was generally excellent. Taste wasn't. Seemed like they were trying to over do it on every dish.scallops were big and cooked to perfection then smothered it some bland sauce. Clam and muscle chowder looked spectacular but once again overdone. The wild boar... More

I have eaten here before. In fact, every single time I go to NOLA I have stopped in for a meal. I don't think I've ever written about the place so here it goes: Go! Do it! Ignore the hotel desk clerk or the taxi driver who says to try something else. Just do it. I have watched Emeril on... More

We had dinner at this little gem tonight and my taste buds are still smiling. We arrived without a reservation and decided to eat at the bar. It was FANTASTIC!!. Our bar tender was Evan and the whole experience rocked. He is a real foodie as well as an awesome, educated, confident, bartender. The food was presented like art and... More

Superb food, service and atmosphere. Not a wrong thing in the place and value for $$ is very good. The boudin, Andouille sausage pairings, wine list and Emeril's signature banana cream pie are memorable. We even saw Emeril enjoying dinner with a group and were told he often cooks there!

Came for a business meeting during a conference and was again delighted! I have been to a few of Emerils locations over the years and they are delightful and well worth the time! With all the great restaurants in New Orleans I would rate Emerils one of the best! I had the shrimp and gumbo for a light lunch and... More

I convinced my husband that we HAD to try this while in town. The food was good. There are 3 servers for each table, which normally is nice, not this time. My husband at one point got a bit annoyed, as they took away his bloody Mary before he had finished it. At this point, we called out for them... More
