Surprising gem off the beaten path

We went here on a food tour for their version of a Muffaletta. It was fresh and delicious. This is an Italian Deli. Beers were affordable.

We stopped here for a quick dessert break. We both had gelato. Mine was caramel and fruit de bosco (mixed berries) and they were both excellent. About $4.50 for a small cup and $6.50 for a large.

We tried the muffalatto here and also the arugula & fig panini. Both days the food was fresh and tasty. It was my fav place to eat while in the city.

They make their own gelato/ice creams and breads from scratch. Very good little Sicilian cafe with a pretty courtyard. We were turned onto this place by our tour guide "Ina" when we were brought here to view the courtyard. My husband had the muffuletta and thought it was wonderful. I had the PLT: fried prosciutto, lettuce and tomato sandwich, it... More

Little Vic's is a great place to grab a pizza and enjoy their beautifully decorated courtyard. We ordered a simple cheese pizza, and it was good. The service was good and quick. The thing we liked best about Little Vic's was the courtyard which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a nice table right by the fountain and the... More

Delish cappuccino gelato and nice atmosphere. Not too crowded. Plenty of room to sit and people. Cool little Sicilian street food cafe. Great service!

When we came there was only 2 people working. Half of the food on the menu was not available. But the food that was available was very great. I would suggest coming here with no more than 1 other person.

Stuffed rice balls like my grandmother used to make. Outstanding value and great food. Home made food using great Italian family recipes. Quaint courtyard to dine in and the owners will treat you great!!

Little Vic's is my favorite neighborhood spot! I love to stop in early for their wonderful coffee! I pick up canollis for friends, order take out for lunch or have dinner in. They even deliver! Food is delicious, staff is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. The December Salad is my current fav!

I had the Tacchino Panini, consisted of turkey, avocado, provolone with pesto. Hubby had Ziti Pasta - Pomodoro E Mozzarella. Both dishes came with a bowl of gumbo. Very tasty and in small portions. Perfect! Very nice little place.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
