Another wonderful Sunday brunch with outstanding service and food

I have reviewed this restaurant before, but the people there just seem to outdo themselves every visit. This is our "go to" brunch place before Sunday matinee at the Saenger Theatre Broadway Across America series. This past Sunday was the last of the season. Our friend and Maitre D, Ryan always... read more

Outstanding dining experience in the heart of the French Quarter. One of the best restaurants I have visited in NOLA...a great 5-star experience all around! Was visiting NOLA on business and made a reservation at Revolution on a Tuesday night (solo) through OpenTable, after seeing absurdly high reviews on Yelp and OpenTable. There are 3 parts to the restaurant. The... More

Be sure to have a drink at the really classic bar for a relatively new place. Just off Bourbon Street, but a quieter respite with elegance and class. Excellent range of Tramonto-fashioned NOLA cuisine and nice wine list. Along with Arnaud's, this is our favorite place for a business meal, but similarly a great ambiance for a romantic dinner in... We have dined here since it first opened. Originally I was so happy to see hopefully a contender to three other restaurants in NOLA that adhere to a more formal dress code. I like the "tourist" spot as much as anyone. The first time we dined here I was happy to see well trained staff and no shorts and sandals.... More

We were in NOLA with friends celebrating their 15 wedding anniversary. This is a grand restaurant but not a romantic one, which was fine for the occasion. The food was perfectly executed. Loved the quail triptych!

We found this restaurant thanks to a recommendation from a friend who works close by. He had heard good things about it so we cancelled our existing reservation and got one here. It was well worth it. All I can do is rave about the entire experience. We were served by a team that included Michael, Brian and Dalton. They... More

The combination of Chefs Folse and Tramonto have created what could be the best restaurant in New Orleans. My wife and I have eaten there three times in the last year and had fabulous meals each time. Everything you order is great. My main course on Easter Sunday, Lobster Gnocchi, was incredible! Be sure to have a drink at the... More

Our expectations were very high for this restaurant, but unfortunately not all were met. Overall, the experience was very good, but there is room for improvement. Our first disappointment was the lack of a suitable dress code. There were several patrons dinning at the restaurant wearing T-Shirts. Really! The restaurant seems to cater to large parties; therefore, there is no... More

We ate at R'evolution for our anniversary dinner while in NOLA recently. We were warmly greeted by the staff congratulating us on our anniversary (the hotel had told them we were celebrating). We thoroughly enjoyed the House Salad with Crispy Vegetables which had a house vinaigrette that greatly complimented the greens, radishes, green beans and cucumbers. We both ordered the... More

The food here was very good - upscale New Orleans cuisine. Service was great. However, if you are looking for a romantic dinner, the ambiance here isn't conducive - very large tables so you feel separated from your partner, and the lighting is horrendous - very bright, not romantic.
