Dining at the Chef's Table

This place had so much hype, maybe I was expecting more. It turned out to be slightly above average. Not sure what I was expecting but didn't get it. Maybe next time.

Truly one of the finest, if not the best, dining experiences we have had. Rarely do you find great food, a beautiful setting, and attentive service all in one place. Allow the exceptional staff to guide you then sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience. You can't go wrong here.

We met my long-time friends from Baton Rouge here for dinner. Arrived early so she could have her favorite Sazerac at the bar and it didn't disappoint. Atmosphere was clean and moderately vibrant. We were seated near the kitchen which was fine with us to get to see/watch some of the goings-on. Wine list on iPad was one of the... More

On a recommendation we just turned up and took a seat at the bar. Really cool restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Friendly front of house. We ordered the death by gumbo (amazing) and turtle soup which was equally good. Had a couple of great cocktails. But we were really let down by the service. Our bartender was either having a... The restaurant is excellent, and reservations are necessary. We were there on a Monday night and the earliest reservation was for 9:30 P.M. We were not seated until 9:45 and were given a table near the back of the restaurant. The menu is loaded with extraordinary food, that is all a la carte. A filet is about $42.00 and potatoes... On Arriving The Hostesses were all very friendly but there seemed to be a lot of confusion about us being seated( we had a reservation) at 8 pm we ended up being seated a good 20 minutes later.Even though we could see empty tables? Once seated we ordered drinks and our entrees immediately we skipped appetizers as it was getting... More

Restaurants have a life cycle and this one is attaining new summits Bathed in a quiet ethereal setting we are catered by a disciplined but gracious staff. The winemaster gives impeccable counsel in pairing. To ignite the palate, the beignets were delights as well as Death by Gumbo without the subsequent burial. The creativity of their Louisiana seafood is only... More
