Description: Serving Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch, Restaurant R’evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto, offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only the chefs’ interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo, po’ boys, and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from what Chef Folse refers to as “the swamp floor pantry.” Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying.Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Desserts showcase classical New Orleans sweets done in a new and contemporary way.

By far the best! I Frequent revolutions and can never say enough good things about it. I've never had a bad meal or bad service. When people ask where to go, I always recommend revolution. The best things in the menu: (Everything on their extensive menu is to die for, and yes, I've had it all) Creole cream cheese mashed... More

If you go you have to try the charcuterie plate. Everyone at our table agreed it was the best thing we had all night. The tomahawk steak was to die for! From start to finish the service was impeccable. I really loved the dessert "jewelry box", something I've never seen done.

My friends and I started with drinks in the bar and then met a local for dinner. He is well known at the restaurant so that may have influenced the service, but not the food! The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. The seafood was fresh and beautifully presented. I would go back to eat here often.

We went for brunch on Saturday. First of all, if you are not a seafood lover then you aren't going to find a lot on the menu for you. The portions are very small, but the price is very high. I think if you are into unique spins on food, willing to spend some dough, and have a very long... More

We went to Peche, Commanders palace, over rated. We are from Phoenix which has a very good restaurant scene. So we had high expectations after seeing yelp and ta reviews for previous places. We finally found our foodie nirvana in the big easy at Revolution. We sat at the bar because we were in shorts and did not have reservations.... More

Had a great dinner with girlfriends. I asked for a gin martini and they suggested a certain brand, then kept them coming all night! Food was delicious, and it was fun talking to the chef about the meal. Great experience and the friendly service and attitude made it that much more fun. Don't be shy: ask questions about your meal... More

We had a lovely meal here last weekend. Atmosphere is conservative with a certain charm. The wine list is extensive with something for everyone. Service is impeccable, but not stuffy. We started with a truffled beef tar tar, very nice, and a corn cappuccino (a chowder), really tasty. I was looking forward to the seafood bouillabaisse. I can only give... More

Beautiful restaurant and bar inside of the Royal Sonesta hotel. We were staying in the hotel so we entered through the gorgeous courtyard. The menu is fabulous. Don't eat before you go because if you are anything like us it will be so hard to choose what NOT to have as everything sounded great. It was better than that. Foie... More
