Description: Serving Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch, Restaurant R’evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto, offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only the chefs’ interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo, po’ boys, and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from what Chef Folse refers to as “the swamp floor pantry.” Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying.Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Desserts showcase classical New Orleans sweets done in a new and contemporary way.

We went last Sunday at 1:45pm, we were the last one seated for brunch, I believe. There were only a few other people still there dining, not sure how crowded they had been earlier in the day. Awesome service, amazing food. I'm sure many other reviews have mentioned, but don't miss the Grilled Oysters, the gumbo....although I don't know if... More

The food was creative and absolutely delicious: an amuse bouche of peanut butter mousse, foie gras and fig jam; fire grilled oysters and crab beignets for starters; soft-shelled crab with polenta, and pappardelle with mushrooms and pancetta as our main courses; along with a... You could pick petite... More

This might be the top restaurant in the French Quarter. Great wine list. Molly can help you pick a choice. If you are an oyster fan try the Oysters Revolution style.

We arrived in the pouring rain in flip flops and shorts (very underdressed even for lunch) but the hostess was exceedingly nice about not making us feel awkward. Decor is beautiful. Server was very nice and attentive. Muscles were to die for, shrimp were delish, and beet salad was awesome. All three in my party ordered the crab grilled cheese... More

Can't even explain this mega high end temple of goodness. The food is just amazing, the service over the top and the decor is second to none. In my estimation...one of the best restaurants in the country. A MUST when in New Orleans!! Chef John is awesome!!!!
