My husband and I were in New Orleans from Florida for a few days for his birthday. We were brought into this restaurant by the persuasive fellow outside the door with menus in his hand. We were seated inside the window space with the only table so we had a romantic and private dinner.......also the best people watching view. Our... More

Location right on Bourbon Street real nice for people watching. Wait staff attentive and efficient and manager was also attentive. I had the red beans and rice with sausage along with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and everything was just OK with little flavor. The margarita's were good but way overpriced. OK for a tourist area for typical Cajun... More

This place is in a great location, but it's not that large so you may have to wait. The food was decent, but not what I'd consider authentic cajun. They have the expected "favorites", but could do a better job of them.

Olde N'awlins Cookery reminds me of a TGI Friday's specializing in Cajun food. They have a large drink menu with "specialty" fruity, mixed, blended drinks as well as a solid selection of local menu items - PoBoys, Fried Seafood, Cajun Pasta, etc. My friends rented out the room upstairs for their wedding rehearsal dinner, so we had a set menu... This is our first time to New Orleans and this was a great spot for our first late night dinner. The seafood platter was huge and very tasty. I never had catfish, although I caught many in my younger days fishing. The fish was extremely light and tasty despite how it looks on a hook. This is a cool place... More

We were a bit hesitant about this place. It looks like a diner, right off of Bourbon. But the food was really good and the waiter (Johnelle) was great. There were seven of us and we all had different dishes and everyone liked what they had. I had pasta and Cajun sausage which was good.

We are here this afyernoon and you need to roll me out the door! We spoke to Leroy earlier and he convinced us we needed to try the steak! Well we got the blackened ribeye..its not what you think..its just spices on the steak, not actually blackened. I cant eat hot spices, so.I was a bit worried. Our waiter Carlos... More

Jonathan M. Is amazing! Super friendly bartender that knows his stuff. He was very personable and made me the best Bloody Mary I've ever had in my life. The Peppered Vodka is a MUST!

The food was exceptionally good... The blackened gator is to die for... and the redfish cookery was the bread winner... Some amazing local fish to have... huge portions so you will get full... and the server rome was very pleasant and nice... very informative about information about the food and the city overall... will be returning soon

Had the shrimp "po boy" .Good quantity and quality. Service by "Jake" was excellent--attentive, knowledgeable, and polite. He made sure our needs were looked after and returned to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Would definitely return to this establishment.
