Atmosphere and wonderful service! The fried gator and blackened gator was amazing! So we're the oysters, the shrimp, the catfish, and the bread pudding! Came with a smile and a FULL belly!

Food and atmosphere was so good, we kept coming back. After spending most of a day flying in from Canada, we just wanted to grab a bite to eat, see a bit of the street and go to bed. Luckily, this was our first stop. Delicious seafood chowder and blackened catfish po'boy (so good we kept coming back) and the... More

My friend and I came across this place by accident. We were hungry and we hadn't tried it yet - so we decided to head inside. What followed was easily my best meal in the French Quarter. I ordered the fried catfish and my friend ordered red beans and rice. ...and you wouldn't believe how good it was. My catfish... More

Was with a larger group and they handled us very well. The crab cakes were just the best I've had. The gumbo was the best I had out of the other 3 places I'd been during my stay and the bread pudding put it over the top.

Server, Rome, was exceptional! He was fast, kind, and he doesn't eat turtle because he has one as a pet. Wish this kid all the best in the world.

My husband cannot stop talking about how good the food was here. Even my 7 year old kid said her cheeseburger was the best she has ever had. We had the Alligator appetizer, catfish PoBoy and fried shrimp platter, all were wonderful. The service was great, pretty quick for as much food as they were serving. We sat out in... More

I haven't found a bad meal in New Orleans and fried crawfish, BBQ shrimp, and oysters on the half shell can be hard to mess up. Our server Jordan was great. We were not happy with the way our side of veggies came out and he went to the kitchen and got the chef to make us something off the... More

Is a good place, in a range of the 20$ and more. The food is good, nos spectacular, but you can enjoy the ambiance and some dishes.

We stopped at another place on Bourbon St. and asked if the food there was authentic. The server there said "seriously, if you want the best food on Bourbon St go to NOLA Cookery. That's where I go to eat" We thanked her and headed to NOLA Cookery. We were not disappointed. The food here was soooo good. We had... More
