After going to several not so clean restaurants this was a nice surprise.. We ate dinner and then did brunch the next morning and enjoyed both very much. The food was wonderful, the wait staff friendly and very helpful with the menu.

We went to Brunch at the Irish House on our way back to our hotel. We both ordered their Rise & Shine ($ 10.90) which is eggs as you like them, hash brown, and toast. My wife ordered her eggs scrambled and I eggs over easy. What a disapointment my meal was. The eggs were over VERY hard and the... More

This was the best good we had while in NOLA. Prices weren't that bad. Two of us ate with drinks and tip = $50. I took away a star because there was live music the night we visited, it was so loud we couldn't talk, at all! It was good music, just way too loud.

We had a light dinner at The Irish House. It wasn't crowded the evening we dined. We had the Chicken Mushroom Tart and the Bangers and Mash. Both were delicious. Our server was excellent. The restaurant had a new/clean interior and was well decorated. A big plus, it had its own parking lot located beside it. We will definitely eat... More

We stopped in for an Irish brew and appetizers. We had a chicken mushroom tart and deep fried oysters on a bed of a spinach sauce. Both were excellent. There was a gentleman performing acoustic guitar and singing. He was nice background. The highlight was our server, who gave us numerous suggestions on area highlights. Nice start to our New... Went there and had a drink. They had live Irish music for entertainment. Menu did not really interest us as we were looking for Cajun food. Décor was very nice.

We went to this place three days in a row. Had the Shepard's Pie, which was very good, but on the third visit, I had their brunch special which was a chicken and waffle cordon blu creation. It was fabulous! The staff were very friendly and the little Irish shop in the back of the restaurant was a nice plus.

The only ding I'd give this place (aside from it being a bit loud) was the lack of Irish beers to choose from. They had the obligatory Guiness, of course. That being said, they had some good local beers that were well worth drinking, and the fish part of the fish and chips were excellent (the chips, alas, were far... More
