Drinks at the bar were great!

Loved the iced Irish coffee for a cool refreshment on a warm day! We didn't come to eat, as we had a reservation down the street for lunch, but would have liked a little appetizer - which unfortunately was not available on the bar menu! not even an offering of peanuts or chips. So the cream in my... read more

We had drinks here several times, as it was within walking distance of our hotel, and it was great! The beer selection is fantastic, the food was great, especially brunch! We had the special of the day which was a layered dish of Irish potatoes, fresh spinach, cheddar, bacon and a soft baked egg. It was wonderful! The Irish coffee... More

This was a last minute decision before we left for home....the place is nice inside. ...great bar and lots of wood furnishings. ....but the food was the big draw..it's a limited menu for brunch, but the entrees that we had were delicious and tasty. The eggs Benedict and omelets were really good........I hope to get back to try this place... More

My husband and I grabbed a drink here while on our honeymoon and enjoyed our drinks. The atmosphere was nice and the bar was made of beautiful wood. The only downfall was that the service was mediocre and they played slow Irish music which doesn't make sense in a bar. I had the frozen Irish kiss which was delicious!

Irish House is down St. Charles Street on the trolley line in a nice residential area. It is spacious but rustically furnished. They serve Pub Grub and plenty of it. There are Irish Brews and Ciders . Locals fill the place and there is live music in the evenings. The Irish Whiskey menu covers both sides of a large menu.... More

We stopped in here for a late dinner and had great service and excellent food. The restaurant is filled with trinkets collected by the family and interesting to see. Nice place - worth a second visit.

My husband thought the Bangers & Mash was one of the best versions he's ever had - the onion strings were a great finishing touch. I wasn't feeling well, so the small plate order of Shepherd's Pie was perfect for me. The waiter recommended a delicious fruity lemonade that I would love to recreate at home. Service was so attentive... More
