Watched a Saints game with beer and tortilla soup. Good place to do so in the French Quarter. Good service and good food.

Don't know much about the quality of the food but this place is worth the visit if you have a hankering for a really great Margarita. My wife and I stop in for one of their hand made Margaritas made with fresh key limes every chance we get. They taste great and have a really good kick.

This place was recommended to me by several locals and it was great! The Mexican food was a nice change of pace among all of the Cajun food in NOLA. The service was super quick and they make the food right in front of you. Like an authentic, cheap Chipotle. Went twice on our week-long trip.

Was unaware of what to expect however upon arrival smelled fabulous. Was on a visit to the city so the restaurant was new to me. The food was DELICIOUS, fresh and fast. I would highly recommend this establishment as a quick, yummy, affordable, casual dinning pleasurable experience.

I really wanted an authentic fish taco. My two tacos were baja style. Okay, I liked the topping, but had to take most of it off to find the two tiny pieces of fish. Was very disappointed. The salsa was bland and the guacamole was as well. Loved the white Russian, but not on my have-to-do list at all.

Now, we have really been enjoying the Cajun food in N'awlins for the past week, but we really wanted something else for a change. We asked a local if there was anywhere local (we were in the French Quarter) that served Mexican food. Her face lit up and she immediately suggested Felipe's - and we're really glad she did! The... While stuck waiting on an appointment, we strolled down to the French Quarter to grab a quick lunch since it was a bit closer than superior bar and grill . This is place is like a subway for Mexican food -- you pick what you want to go on your burrito/taco or whatever else you order. I had 2 beef... More

Low key place...the food was really good, affordable. The margaritas are made with fresh squeezed key limes, and they were superb!

We didn't want Creole or seafood or a heavy, long meal. This was perfect. It really hit the spot. It's causal and low key- you order at the counter and then sit down. Definitely recommend. Delicious.

Had a quick lunch during a business trip. Had the shrimp tacos Baja style and a side of rice. Tacos were delicious although would love to have the choice of grilled instead of only fried... Rice was OK... Not great... Overall a good meal... Price was good too, service was good
