Quick and convenient

I do recommend this place because it is clean and the staff are attentive to ones needs. The food quality is slightly above average and the atmosphere is very transient with locals and visitors.

Great place to eat if you have food allergies. They are very accommodating. The bar is separate from the food area but o well it's N'awlins.

About an hour after getting into New Orleans we were sitting at our table with plates filled with delicious food. Friendly staff, wonderful food and great drinks. Well worth going to, you owe it to yourself!

I would go back to New Orleans JUST to come back here! I regret not getting more food when I was there. I can't believe I am saying that the best Mexican food I ever had is in New Orleans...what is the world coming to?

My husband & I first sampled the food by ordering a few appetizers from the tiki bar upstairs, Tiki Tolteca(which is also amazing). We immediately loved it.Our favorite is the al pator tacos & he carne asada nachos. Everything is prepared as you order it, & made fresh right in front of you. It is also authentic & very reasonable... More

The dive we have all been looking for. Five stars for: authentic Mexican, Spanish-spoken, family-friendly, diverse clientele, Mexican soda, simple tables, cheap but good. Remove the flat screens and six stars are within reach.

If you want cold beer (yeah! they have pacifico!) or potent, handmade margaritas with consistently good food, go here. There's nothing particularly special about the place (or any of the other locations), but you can eat and drink for a reasonable price quickly (unless the bar is packed, the bartender is hungover, or there is a ridiculously annoying person ordering... This was the best place my family ate all week. The prices are so friendly, the portions plenty. The food is healthy. It is really good Mexican food. Very informal and family friendly. I would have loved to eat here again, if we had enough time.

Great authentic food. Have stopped here the last two trips to New Orleans, will stop here again. Good Base food for a busy evening.

By far my favorite Mexican place! Many Latinos were eating here, which says a lot! I had the taco salad with chicken, my love had the quesadilla with sausage, both were yum and we will go back tomorrow!
