Fun place with decent fast mexican food- great lunch place. It has a wonderful bar where you can hang out with the locals. We were looking for a restaurant with table service for lunch, but seeing the great bar and atmosphere we decided to stay. Nice staff, great nachos and margaritas.

Visited New Orleans for the Rock-n-Roll Half Marathon. Flew in late, hadn't eaten the entire day, of a physically demanding day. Wondered the streets looking for a place to eat, walked into "Bubba Gump's" and it was closed. The Manager suggested "Felipe's" for real good Mexican Food. Walked in and felt overwhelmed, the manager took his time to explain the... More

Very strong frozen margaritas. We stopped for chips, salsa, queso and guacamole. The chips were brought in a paper bag and the dips were brought in little "to go"plastic containers. I would have preferred to have the food in bowls but it was tasty.

A little grimy, but maybe that's the charm. Not a fancy place, but a good place for some quick mexican food. Probably the biggest challenge I ran into was figuring out how to order (done in line; no table service). It's not overly straightforward for a newbie, and with a line, I felt a bit rushed. But had a Quesadilla... More

This place is awesome. Very good food and service is fast. A much better option than your usual chain fast food joint.

Felipe's is conveniently located in the French Quarter and a little bit past the business of the shopping and bars. My husband and I actually visited twice in two days because of how quick the service was, but mostly because the food was awesome. We got the Super Burrito, and then the Chimichanga (the super burrito fried with queso) and... More

We ate here twice during our stay in the French Quarter. Our teens loved the food and the atmosphere. Great value for the money.

Watched a Saints game with beer and tortilla soup. Good place to do so in the French Quarter. Good service and good food.

Don't know much about the quality of the food but this place is worth the visit if you have a hankering for a really great Margarita. My wife and I stop in for one of their hand made Margaritas made with fresh key limes every chance we get. They taste great and have a really good kick.

This place was recommended to me by several locals and it was great! The Mexican food was a nice change of pace among all of the Cajun food in NOLA. The service was super quick and they make the food right in front of you. Like an authentic, cheap Chipotle. Went twice on our week-long trip.
