Stumbled upon a surprise

We initially wanted to go to The Ruby Slipper, but it was an hour wait. Figuring very few places are worth waiting that long for breakfast we trekked just down the street to Red Gravy. This turned out to be a great decision. There was only a 10 minute wait there and I find it hard to believe its... read more

We were looking forward to Red Gravy ... But walked out before we ever sat down. We got there 1030 AM on Friday morning and the place was busy. After being told there would a 10 minute wait, and we were asked to wait outside. Fine ... It's a very small place. So outside we went. Then we watched 4... More

He's an ex-Marine, smart enough to serve the country, just unable to accommodate your party of 3 during Jazzfest until a table that was appropriate for your party size was available. Thanks for your support. More

We were visiting New Orleans for my birthday and stumbled onto the restaurant. It was our best find of the trip. My friends ordered the lasagna and I ordered the ravioli. Everything was fantastic. Very fresh, so delicious, and just wonderful. Highly recommend if you are looking for amazing Italian food.

We were staying at the hilton. Looking for breakfast since the hotel breakfast was 21$ a person and didnt look very interesting. Someone suggested Red Gravy. It was a cajun italian blend of food. Excellent capchino. The red gravy tasted great i put it on my grits then my eggwhite chickn spinach sandwich. Everyone loved their meal. We will go... More

This is the first time eating breakfast at an Italian restaurant. We had 4 delicious meals, but the one that stood out most of all were the eggs and meatballs. I never saw two men devour breakfast like that. Very very good

My only regret was not being able to try the food for dinner...but it was SOOOOO amazing that we went here for brunch twice!!! The dining room is small and cozy...but feels just right when you sit down. We instantly fell in love with the feel of the place. Then we tried the food...and that was all she wrote!! Try... More

I can't stress how great this restaurant is. Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere is beautiful too. It's obvious that the chef loves her food and her restaurant.

This has become a go-to place for us when in New Orleans. We went twice on the last trip. The coffee is exceptional - best in town. The Omelets are unique and always full of flavor surprises. This visit included Easter Brunch - a real treat for sure. The atmosphere is great and the wait staff are knowledgeable and friendly.... More

This was the only bad place we went to in New Orleans and I strongly recommend you avoid it. My friend ordered the prosciutto and Melon and got literally one piece of prosciutto (split into 3) and a tiny ashtray containing a few chunks of melon. I had some potatoes served in the tiniest dish I have ever seen-I'm talking... More

Thank you for repeating your friends review and giving me an opportunity to respond again. As I previously stated, the prosciutto di parma and fruit plate is an appetizer, $12, not 13 or mid teens, as previously stated. An appetizer is not a meal, not an entrée. We use imported salumi and locally grown, organic fruit. This weekend we were... More

Food and service were amazing! I had eggs florentine for brunch, but I wish I could have tried everything on the menu! Will definitely stop here again if I am ever in NOLA again.
