We were wandering down Canal Street when our friend spotted a sign advertising Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. We had been given so many recommendations of places to eat but had left without any ideas. (This is off of Canal Street) There was a line but we were headed to the WWII Museum and did not want to be hungry so... More

We had this place on our "must go" list when we visited New Orleans due to reviews. We stopped by several times but they were closed. On our last day, we finally got there for lunch... no wait, which was a surprise since we had heard there were usually lines and we had no reservation. Yay for us... seated right... More

We arrive at 10:45 to the hotel. We rushed to RG made it about 11:30. Food was awesom, service a little slow but we were in no hurry. The atmosphere was nice. The complaint I have is I found on FB that they were going on vacation July 19 til august 2! That is my complaint

My best friend, Glen, puts me up at his home when I visit NOLA (home for me). We love to go out and eat. Finding good, new places is a culinary adventure. WELL --- we HIT THE JACK POT ---thanks to one of Glen's foodie clients. We returned to the Red Gravy three times that week. We tried so many... More

This place was great, my wife and I tried to find a place last minute and walked by Red Gravy. The service was great and the food was excellent. We were seated right behind a large party and were informed that our food would take longer than usual. The fact we were informed about this right away was fantastic. They... More

We were greeted by I believe the manager/owner. She was a lady in her mid-fifties if I had to guess to provide a description. She was not very friendly at ALL! We actually witnesses two parties leave right after walking in and being greeted by her unpleasant attitude. Another party actually sat down, then decided they couldn't get over her... More

Thank you for coming during the extremely busy Essence Festival. As with any festival, the lines are extremely long and our small kitchen runs out of food. The unfortunate thing about assuming you know why someone left is that usually, it's impossible to know for sure, and anything is pure speculation. Indeed people did leave this weekend due to the... Some of the nicest people that I've met in New Orleans. The food was great. The meatballs are to die for. Essence Fest is really a busy time but they really did a great job with the lines and the wait. Well done. Go there.

Little did we know, but we were lucky to get one of the last dinner services before they switched to just breakfast/lunch until labor day. We loved our meal! The cioppino was the best I've ever had. The service was attentive, and the chef stopped by at the end of our meal to check in on us. The location is... More
