Had breakfast here twice during our trip to New Orleans. Service was very good. The food well prepared. We had a particular special with butter cakes and fresh berries. It was a bit pricey but very good. Had it twice in fact. This is really close to Canal and a short walk from many hotels there. There isn't a lot... More

Very close to the hotel and a recommendation by a friend. It is a smaller place, so I recommend reservations. Reservations at anytime in the quarter are really a good idea. We dropped in at the opening walking back and hoped to make reservations later that evening, but since service had started they said they couldn’t do that after opening.... More

We recently returned from another visit to New Orleans and to one of our very favorite restaurants, Red Gravy. We are always greeted with smiling faces from the wait staff and look forward to a 'welcome back hug' from Roseanne, the owner/chef. We've eaten dinners and brunches and both have always been amazing. Roseanne seems to be able to take... More

We went here for breakfast and it was the best food. I love the waffles and the pancakes homemade!! The eggs were also delicious you can get them a variety of ways. This is a local restaurant the food is very fresh!! I will return.

Went here for breakfast the other day. All I wanted was a croissant with a fruit salad. My server said they didn't serve fruit salad a la carte, I needed to order a continental breakfast - croissant, fruit salad, some ham & cheese. Out came a wooden board with a croissant, some ham & cheese (gave to my husband) and... More

I'm sorry you feel you were 'ripped off', especially since all the prices of our menu items are listed in the menu. We don't offer items a la carte; the waiter suggested the contintental breakfast. The menu lists it as a croissant, salumi & fromaggi, and seasonal fruit. Those are the exact words, it does not say fruit salad. We... More

We loved this place and had brunch and dinner here. The food is locally sourced and freshly prepared. The serves are massive but they boxed up leftovers to go- which tasted just as good the next day! Service is great and can't recommend highly enough. Reservations for brunch are advisable unless you're happy with a potential short wait.

, Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Pasta dishes were a little small and both my husband and I were still hungry when we left. I had the gluten free cookies which were not very good.

A few of us visited to a late breakfast or early brunch and we were not disappointed! Great food (very large portions). I can recommend Lou's breakfast.
