Amazing food!!!

My husband and I visited there Saturday morning for a late breakfast. Even though there were a few people waiting we got seated right away...I think b/c it was just the two of us. It was indeed a different kind of breakfast. Everything we ordered was delicious! The place is clean and close to Canal Street and the French Quarter.

The food was amazing but the staff lacked the friendly personality necessary to manage the long wait for a table.

Visited for breakfast on route to the WW2 museum (a must in N O) We both had pancakes with sausage and eggs. Very tasty and good value at around 10 dollars a head. Only slight annoyance was there appeared to be music on in the kitchen and different music where we were eating.

My husband and I went here with our 5 year old son. The server that helped us looked genuinely disappointed to see that we had arrived with a child. (They did not have a kids menu). When she took our drink order she did not ask what our son wanted and she did not offer to bring him anything, and... More

I'd like to address your concerns with the staff but you haven't mentioned when you dined here. While we don't have a children's menu, we do have many families visit and we have always accommodated small portion requests with three different options. I'm surprised that your child wasn't given silverware, considering we don't seat anyone at a table that is... More

Small cozy restaurant in a great location, excellent food. Went there for breakfast, Sicilian pot pie and meatball omelette filled us up. Very tasty.

If someone would have told me I was going to have a meatball omelet with Ricotta cheese and a red sauce I would have said you're crazy, but that's exactly what I had at Red Gravy accompanied with grits. The omelet was delicious. The meatballs were light and with a little spice. Definitely homemade tomato sauce ( RED GRAVY). The... More

Pros: Location Food portions and quality Atmosphere Cons: Extremely expensive Inattentive service We had brunch at Red Gravy on a recent Sunday morning. We waited about 10 minutes for a table. Upon entering, the banjo player could be heard and he added a great feel to the restaurant. It took 12 minutes for the server to arrive and another 10... More

We had been looking for quiet place to have breakfast away from bustle of the French quarter. Red gravy is only a short step over canal street but it was a step worth taking. The food was lovely; freshly prepared from good ingredients. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the food. We would recommend this place to any one... More

I am a local (an actual born in New Orleans local) and I have never been in this place. I found myself in the area and hungry. Me and my son stopped in and only had a five minute wait. This place has great ambiance. My son got the Pancakes and I got the Roe's Breakfast. Everything was great! The... More
