My wife and I had a really nice lunch experience on Saturday at Red Gravy. Mimosas were delicious. I had a French Quarter sandwich that consisted of sausage (fantastic links), onions and peppers with fried eggs on top. Came with fruit which was great and fresh. My wife had some sort of Italian sandwich that she raved about. Service was... More

We ate breakfast here recently the morning before we left on a cruise out of New Orleans. This restaurant has a faithful following on Trip Advisor and I had been wanting to give it a try for a while. The food is delicious and very fresh. It is a little pricy for breakfast, but the prices are proportional to similar... More

Since Brennan's closed we were looking for another place for a good New Orleans breakfast and we found it in Red Gravy. It is less than a block off Canal on Camp street. I had canolli with chocolate chips and sauce along with whipped cream and regular syrup and my wife had the shrimp and grits. Mine was heavenly and... More

Off the beaten path, Red Gravy is a quirky little restaurant between downtown and the French Quarter. Our group went for brunch and little did we know we'd experience Italian-Brunch! We all had dishes that included their famous red gravy and meatballs. The service was very pleasant and the food was clearly made with care and love. Not too expensive,... More

My wife and I had brunch here on a trip to NOLA with our 12 year old daughter and her friend. We were completely bowled over. The atmosphere is comfortable farmhouse with eclectic, off-beat touches. And the live banjo music added to the Southern atmosphere. The service was lovely and wonderfully attentive. And the. food was several levels beyond the... More

Looking for a breakfast option when in the French Quarter? This place is sure to please. Small & intimate setting with great food. The owner originally hails from New Jersey.

We dropped in for breakfast based on recommendations from friends. We were told how wonderful the "red gravy" is, but what totally surprised us were the delicious grits. We eat a ton of grits and these were truly remarkable. You don't need to add a thing, salt, butter - totally unnecessary. The Sicilian pie was wonderful, the pastry was light... More

We stopped in here for breakfast and found out red gravy is a nice tomato sauce, almost a marinara sauce. we had a great breakfast in a friendly spot that you should get reservations for. We had to wait about 20 minutes but was worth it.

I read a ton of great reviews about Red Gravy, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. My husband and I visited the restaurant for breakfast and practically drooled on the menus before making a decision. I ordered the cannoli pancakes, which were a diabetics dream. Sweet cannoli filling with chocolate? You can't go wrong. My husband had waffles topped with apples,... More

We went here based on reviews and they were not wrong. It is a fantastic place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. I had an omelet filled with ricotta cheese and it was so rich and creamy. All four of us at the table had a wonderful meal. Plus, the owner is a "Jersey Girl". How can you go wrong? If I have the... More
