Hotel Restuarant

My husband and I were looking for a place to grab something quick before heading back to the room. Dress It is located in our hotel and was able to make our food to go quickly so we could eat in the comfort in our room. Good food, good prices, and good services.

We only had the choice of about five items and a couple dressings. We were there about 7 pm on a Sunday, so maybe lunch is different. I had the chicken fingers, which were okay. They came with fries and a pico salad. The rest of my family had quesadillas. They said they were okay. The Sprite never did mix... More

We were not greeted. Waitress came over and seemed pleasant but a novice to giving service. We finally got her attention and ordered. It took about 30 minutes to deliver. Food was good but not great. We had to leave before eating a bite...

This restaurant is a nice upscale decor with fabulous burgers you dress your way. The menu has health-conscious choices and the location allows you to see outside no matter where you sit.

For $6.95 you can create your own custom burger. They give you a card and you choose your meat....there was beef, turkey, grilled chicken, portabello mushroom, veggie burger, pulled pork, crab cake, shrimp or oyster poboy, smoked sausage, fish, meatloaf or beef hot dog. Then you choose your cheese, then what kind of bread, then what toppings. I had the... More

The food was tasty, presented well and reasonably priced. We went there twice and we're not disappointed either time.

We went for breakfast because it was just around the corner from our hotel & on the way to the Quarter. We walked in & didn't see anyone so we sat ourselves. One in our party had been here before & knew we could go up & start on our plates (it's Buffett style). They offered eggs, potatoes, grits, biscuits,... More

Although this restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel, we did not find it to be great. The gumbo was okay, but greasy. The hamburgers were pretty good. There are better places to eat nearby.

The breakfast sandwich was too small and there sausage didn't quite have a good sausage flavor. Although the people were friendly I'd give them thumbs up.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
