On the cheap

If you are looking for nothing fancy for breakfast this is the place. I liked it, my husband did not. He had the cajun plate and I just had grits and bacon.

read reviews on trip advisor, it was pretty late and we were hungry,so after the parade we stopped in for breakfast. While we were deciding on what to eat the horse police all came in for a late dinner, we asked their suggestion and they said you couldn't go wrong with anything on the menu. Chelsea was very accommodating, ordered the 2... More

We stopped into Daisy Dukes for breakfast the morning after a very late night on the French Quarter. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was fairly bland. Everything else was very good and the others I was with enjoyed their breakfast. I don't believe that there are a lot of options for classic breakfast on the French Quarter... More

I've eaten at Mother's, which is a great place to eat in New Orleans. But, for my money, Daisy Dukes was the best I've had in this town. The chicken fried steak, eggs and biscuits are the closest to Granny's home cookin' that I've found. Well done DD.

Jaymie p. was the bomb! Warm and welcoming, she made our large party comfortable from the moment we were seated. Food is outstanding for both breakfast and dinner_ everything we had (wide variety ) was excellent but the bloody Mary's were the best we ever had. Complete with crawfish, celery, olives and pickled okra, the bloody marys alone (and yes,... More

We had Shrimp Creole, chicken sandwiches and a breakfast. All came within 15 minutes. We all enjoyed it. We are getting up early for early bird breakfast(before 9) They are good and $2-3 cheaper.

VERY FRIENDLY WAITSTAFF and well prepared breakfast makes this the place to go if you are in the area. Early bird special (before 9am), bottomless Bloody Mary's... There are other restaurants with reputation (and long lines) who just don't do breakfast as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

We were looking for someone that delivered in the French Quarter and stumbled across this spot. I was pretty shocked how quick they got to us considering it is Mardi Gras season. I ordered the catfish po-boy and man let me tell you.....two people can eat that thing! It was fresh, seasoned really well and extremely tasty. I have decided... More
