I love how innovative their menu is and it's always so perfectly executed. And I love how intimate it is, it always makes me feel special.

A friend recommended this for lunch and I was seriously impressed with the quality of the food and interesting options. Definitely one of the better meals I had when I was in town. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent food from a very small restaurant. I am not sure they even have indoor seating. It is located in what looks like an alley, the tables are outside and even though they have umbrellas, the afternoon sun beats down with a vengeance. The food is great and the service wonderful. Check them out!

I stopped by The Green Godess twice when I was in New Orleans, once for dinner and once for Sunday brunch, because it was a vegetarian-friendly option close to my hotel. The food was excellent both times. For dinner I had a take on an Indian dosa stuffed with curried vegetables. For brunch I had Manchego cheese grits, poached eggs,... More

If you are looking for a very local experience, something with a hole-in-the-wall feel but with amazing food and good service, this is a place you'd want to check out. Note that while it doesn't have white table cloths, carpeted floors, a hostess table and fancy music, the prices are similar to what you'd pay in a "nice" restaurant. But... More

The bottom line here: we left a 78-cent tip. Worst food, served by worst staff, who forgot half of what we ordered, but billed us anyway. Vegetables tasted like they were cooked in November and we didn't finish a thing. Avoid this vegetarian nightmare!

By first impressions , the place looks like a dump. Don't let that deter you. But the menu is unique and the food is fantastic. I went with my family of 5, ages ranging from 12 to 54. Everybody loved it and wants to go back.

This is a tiny place. Think three interior tables and 4-5 bar stools. The rest is at tables outside in a kind of alley/walking street in a safe and nice part of the French Quarter. The menu is about as eclectic and creative as it can get. I never know exactly what I am getting, just if I like the... More

I am not a vegetarian, but I do not need to have meat at every meal. It seems that finding a vegetarian friendly place in New Orleans is somewhat difficult and one of the few places I found in my research was here. The Green Goddess is a very small restaurant situated on a pedestrian alley way. It is not... More
