Love this place

The food and service were both great. It's in this really cool little pedestrian walk-way off the main human traffic area. It's a really cool little spot. The food was super good, I had the bib wedge salad, and the dressing was amazing. It was maybe the best salad I've ever had in my life, it was... read more

New Orleans French Quarter was heaving with crowds for the football game plus two tired, hungry vegetarians from the UK. The Green Goddess menu looked creative and tasty. But we'll never know.

This place was gear and in a beautiful side street in the French quarter. It's hard to find healthy options in NO so I was excited to see this. One day I ate outside which was perfect. The other time indoors was a bit stuffy. My only comment is that even the "healthy" food was made with heavier ingredients than... More

...want to come back for more. It is a very rustic place, don't turn away if it doesn't look like a fancy restaurant because for "Fancy" palates it is. OMG! every single item at this place tasted so good, even the water.

I really enjoyed this tiny restaurant full of character. There were a lot of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menu options. But there's also meat. It appears that they take a lot of care and pride in the food and drinks they prepare. There is not a lot of space for dining, but we got a table very quickly on a... More

We were able to try muffaleta, cajun dishes, and biscuits and gravy all vegetarian and excellent drinks as well. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was great

This was a very nice place to eat, my sister took me here and I was very pleased with the food. The only thing I didn't like was the size of it, it was very small and does not accommodate a group larger than 3 people comfortably. The food is the most important part of any experience at a restaurant... More

The French Quarter is not very vegetarian friendly. I want more than a garden salad or sides. The Green Goddess had many options. (They also have a lot of gluten free stuff if you need that.) I had the Tofu Musabi. It looked like a giant piece of sushi. It was served on purple Louisiana rice. I always like to... More

If you've had enough fried food, you simply must try this place... in fact, even if you want to continue eating fried anything while in NOLA, you should really try this place. It is hidden in an alley between Chartres and Royal, right off of Conti. It's small... the service is slow (this is a plus), but the food... oh,... More

We stumbled upon this little restaurant, hidden in an alley way. Seating is scant (3 tables inside, 4-5 outside) but worth the wait if you get there and there's no room. We had lunch here -- had a special of the day which was a grilled crab melt panini with a small green salad. The panini was to die for!... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
