Today we went to Domenica at The Roosevelt Hotel and even though it was half full the Hostess was totally rude and said she couldn't seat us because we were a group of five and there were only tables for four. Then she lied and said she couldn't put two tables together, (there were at least six that I pointed... More

What more could you ask for??? How about an entire head of roasted cauliflower served on a platter with whipped feta sauce on the side? served with an entire oven roasted fish of perfection? Nothing finer and only in New Orleans on a sunny, winter day.

Oddly enough, my husband and I had difficulty finding a decent meal after 10:00 pm in New Orleans where you can drink until 7 am. Go figure. Just as I thought we would be forced into eating mediocre Creole bar food...:-( ...we found Domenica via internet search for late eating. We msde it just before 11pm and enjoyed a great... More

We wanted to go and see the beautiful lights at the Roosevelt Hotel and decided to see what restaurants were available for dinner. We found Dominica and tried it get a reservation, the only opening was at 11:00pm. I asked about walk-ins and was told we might have to wait which was not a problem for us. We waited only... More

A little easier to get a lunch reservation these days since happy hour absorbs much of the crowd. Excellent food and service here, brilliant cocktails (try the Donna Bianco), specials and the pizza is unbelievable!

We were looking for a casual atmosphere in a top quality restaurant and found both at Dominica. You can either enjoy drinks with a great selection of appetizers, get a top quality pizza or eat some great entrees with a good bottle of wine. The location in the front of the Baronne Street side of the Roosevelt also makes it... More

we had domenica on our radar but were on the fence about coming here because we had so many other places to try. our friend recommended only coming here for happy hour (2pm-5pm) since all their pizzas are 50% off! we’re in! we ordered: - margherita pizza – tomato, basil, fresh mozzarella - tutto carne pizza – bacon, fennel sausage,... I thought Dominica had a very exciting menu. My wife ended up doing better than I did. Her crispy kale salad was wonderful although probably twice as big as it needed to be; it was a bit difficult to eat and that got old. Her truffle risotto was wonderful. I had never had veal tongue and at best found it... More

Our party of three went to Domenica for its 4 course Reveillon dinner ( Christmas season specialty). Three of the courses were very good. Yes, they make a Brussels Sprouts salad enjoyable to all. The mushroom soup was not as creamy as described, but it was memorable. And the pork shank main course was done perfectly. The dessert was a... More
