Domenica is a very large restaurant which was packed when we were there. The noise level is high to say the least. Ignore the unpleasant person at the reservation desk who asks in an accusatory, suspicious tone, "Do you HAVE a reservation?" as if she is sure you don't merit one. However, once you have your (reserved) table, the food... More

1. Okay, I will start this debacle by saying that we did not have a reservation. I was told that they were completely booked and no tables were available. I looked around the room and from the door, I could see several tables empty, in different areas of the dining area. It was 2100 hours (9 pm) and I asked... More

Entrance to the restaurant is difficult to find if one is approaching from within the Roosevelt Hotel, wherein the restaurant is located. No signage. Had to get a bellman to find the place for us. Had to wait for about 20 minutes for any service. Server spent an inordinate amount of time ogling and talking to a scantily clad woman... More

Let me begin by saying that Domenica is located in the historic Roosevelt Hotel. There is a lovely bar there and you should try the famous Sazerac before dinner. Now about Domenica...One of the BEST meals I have ever eaten. The menu is quite extensive with something amazing for all tastes. I, and my friends, did not waste our time... More

New Orleans has a wealth of wonderful restaurants and Domenica is another to add to the list of foodie haunts. A large noisy and busy restaurant that always is bustling with activity. The food is very good but not extremely expensive. They do take reservations which is not always the case in New Orleans.

This restaurant is worth repeat visits, especially if you go during happy hour. Their pizzas are worth full price, but getting them at half is even better. Dined there twice during a visit to New Orleans and had the same pizza both times because it was so good. It was a pizza with heirloom tomatoes, goat cheese, red onion and... More

After hearing how good Domenica was we recently went for dinner with 4 other friends. The others had all been here before and quickly picked their favorites to order. We were splitting dishes. None of the items were ones I would have selected but thanks to my friends we had a wonderful meal with creative dishes. All the pizzas looked... More

We came in on our first night for an appetizer and glass of wine and were directed to this restaurant. Our waitress recommended the cheese/chaceuterie platter, made by their Israeli chef. We could have eaten three of them, they were so good. And a great wine selection also.
