We were a party of four adults and three young children. The food, pizza and pasta, was delicious! Our waiter, Kevin K, was very attentive and especially patient since we had three young ones. We will definitely return to Dominica on future visit to NO.

We were very excited to try Domenica having read about Alon Shaya the executive chef. We were happy to see that the restaurant was filled with customers but noticed immediately the noise level which increased as dinner went on. By the end of the meal we could barely hear each other. We ordered from the sample salumi board- prosciutto, sopressata,... More

When you get to the point in your trip where the thought of another full service dinner makes you're eyes glaze over, try happy hour at Domenica. The restaurant is tastefully decorated (although loud), the service is good, and the pizzas are absolutely delicious. They are thin crust, wood fired, and topped with an assortment of fresh ingredients. Go with... More

As a Foodie working in the service industry, I can appreciate a great Restaurant. I plan my vacation's around where we eat. The front of house has as much influence on the experience as the back of house. Leah the bartender hosted us with the southern charm that I expect from a establishment of this caliber. From the Pizza to... More

Domenica is a very large restaurant which was packed when we were there. The noise level is high to say the least. Ignore the unpleasant person at the reservation desk who asks in an accusatory, suspicious tone, "Do you HAVE a reservation?" as if she is sure you don't merit one. However, once you have your (reserved) table, the food... More

1. Okay, I will start this debacle by saying that we did not have a reservation. I was told that they were completely booked and no tables were available. I looked around the room and from the door, I could see several tables empty, in different areas of the dining area. It was 2100 hours (9 pm) and I asked... More

Entrance to the restaurant is difficult to find if one is approaching from within the Roosevelt Hotel, wherein the restaurant is located. No signage. Had to get a bellman to find the place for us. Had to wait for about 20 minutes for any service. Server spent an inordinate amount of time ogling and talking to a scantily clad woman... More

Let me begin by saying that Domenica is located in the historic Roosevelt Hotel. There is a lovely bar there and you should try the famous Sazerac before dinner. Now about Domenica...One of the BEST meals I have ever eaten. The menu is quite extensive with something amazing for all tastes. I, and my friends, did not waste our time... More
