Classy restaurant in the midst of rowdy club area of St. Charles

I rated excellent because for the price and area you won't find a better atmosphere or service. Of course I was traveling, but I long for a restaurant similar to this in my hometown neighborhood. Martini's mixed table side. White tablecloth service. Friendly waiter. We stopped in for a light... read more

Saturday night in the middle of Mardi Gras parades passing on St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans, my family of 7 checked to see if they could accommodate us. To my surprise, the restaurant was literally empty...and maybe we should have taken that as a sign. Let me first say that this is not a restaurant I frequent. My daughter... More

We had their new brunch menu on Sunday. We had the strawberry French toast and fosters banana waffle. Both tasted great and hit the spot. Our server was friendly and attentive. She provided us refills on our coffee and soda.

We were told to go try this place for good pasta. My husband and I went here and they do have good pasta. We had their 5 cheese lasagna and it was very good, a little spicy but very good. Because of the hotel we were staying at we got a complimentary cheesecake........ OMG it was sooooooooo good. I myself... More

Margo and I enjoyed the shrimp and eggplant appetizer. It was amazingly delicious with just a touch of spicey and a wonderful sauce. I would highly recommend it.

our first place to eat and it set the tone for the week. The selection was great and the food was wonderful. the baked fish was out of this world as was the bread pudding. the staff was kind and polite and seemed to enjoy their job. the eating area was big and accommodating for various size parties.

Don't be fooled by the name, this is definitely more than just a cheesecake shop. My husband had been dying to try a good Jumbalaya after having had a couple of average ones. The Jumbalaya pasta here was extraordinary. Amazing taste and flavor. I had crab cakes rolled in grits and fried, with grilled prawns on top of a bed... More

We waited 40 minutes for our food mean while three other tables were seated and served. They didn't have mint to make my mojito. Food was good but cold when it arrived. We spoke to the waiter, a nice guy by the way and he said he would comp us a cheesecake. But when he spoke to the manager, whom... More

We stopped in for dinner after a tour, based on the recommendation of our tour guide. We had about a 20-25 minute wait for a table. Not too bad on a Saturday night. The food was excellent and the portions were large. Since we were full, we decided to get some cheesecake to go for later. I ordered the Kingcake... More
