We stopped for a light supper and drinks. It was wonderful. The staff was so nice. The food was good. The home is lovely and so historic. Well cared for property. We will be back!!
We stopped at the Columns Hotel to sit out a downpour. We sat under the safety of the big porch overlooking the sidewalks and street. We ordered drinks and homemade chips to snack on. The valet boys remained out in the rain under big umbrellas to park the cars and assist patrons as they arrived (I'm not sure if this... More
well worth going for a drink. it's like stepping back in time or into a movie. too bad the food isn't good because there are so many great rooms and outdoor space. close to garden district.
This review is based on our over-all experience for drinks, as we did not have any of the food. We went inside and checked out the bar (totally do it!) and cooled off... More
If you are headed into the Garden District on the streetcar, definitely jump off at the Columns Hotel and grab a drink on their beautiful front porch. My husband had a mint julep and I had a mojito - on a hot day, they both hit the spot. We people watched and just enjoyed life along St Charles for an... More
This place is a fabulous old N.O. Mansion. We were there for cocktails and dinner with a large wedding group. French dip and burger were great! Crab balls not so great - reminded me of mrs, Paul's! Lovely huge porch for drinks chatting.
I don't know what to say other than this was just what the doctor ordered. It's a classic, you can't go wrong. We had a blast here, people watching and chatting it up. Beautiful surrounding and a great staff.
i had seafood gumbo, Ambrosia salad, Pecan crusted red drum fish, banana bread pudding . All of them r great, only Gumbo is a little bit too salty.
The Columns Hotel is not only historic, but it also has great drinks. They have wonderful musicians playing during happy hour and the staff is fantastic. You can also step out on the front porch and grab a seat and watch the beauty on St. Charles. I would recommend The Columns Hotel for sure!
