FANTASTIC little shop on Magazine Street. My husband and I ducked in on whim for lunch during our honeymoon and I hate to think we would have missed it had we not. I ate the shrimp po'boy, cooked by Guy, which was so damn good I don't even remember what my husband ate. Guy was so Cajun that I only... More

Guy's is a tiny little poboy shop that we've had our eye on for about 20 years but never stopped by, mainly because it's only open at lunch. The seating is limited, the cookstaff quirky and fun, and the clientele very nice. The shrimp poboys are excellent and the fries good. We've been by 3 times now.

Well worth it. Few things to know, closed on Sundays, Cash only transactions (although they do have an ATM inside if needed), not alot of seating, maybe 15-20 people at best, and inside is very plain and simple; but we are here for food, right?not decor. Now with that out of the way, everything is made Fresh. I went with... More

My husband and I recently ate at Guy's Po-Boys on Magazine St. Guy's is on a corner, so you can park on a side street if you can't find a spot on Magazine.. The restaurant looks "down-home"; very small with seating for about 30 maybe. I liked the atmosphere! We were there around 3 pm so we had no problem... More

We came into the city too early to check in, so we headed for Guy's for a po boy. Funny how some of the best food, comes out of small quirky buildings. No doubt we'd have went somewhere else with so many choices in New Orleans. Reviews sounded good though. Tiny place, 1st impression is 80% are locals reading the... More

Got a bomb. Watch out because the large is huge. But I enjoyed every bite. What a great place to run into

Hopped off the St. Charles streetcar and walked up Magazine all the way to uptown. Got on the tripadvisor app and looked for a nearby restaurant for lunch. Lucky for us Guy's popped up. Had a great fried shrimp and fried fish po-boy. Sandwiches were great, prices were reasonable, and the place had a little character. Great spot.

Guy's is a cash only really good po-boy shop. There are three workers there and a small space to eat. We don't live that far away so we usually get the po-boy to go. My go to one is the fried shrimp po-boy dressed (lettuce, tomato and mayo). Really good. If you are trying to get there from downtown, take... More

My husband and I took the chartes st trolley, and decided to walk along magazine st, with a final stop at guy's po boys. Little did we realize that we'd have to walk 40 blocks in the heat and humidity to get there! The staff was really nice, not a lot of indoor seating. My husband and I shared the... More

We have been trying po-boys all over New Orleans for the past year when we come to visit my son who is in college here. The food was really good! I had "the smash", grilled shrimp and catfish with cheese, and it was great! My son had the hamburger po'boy, and my husband had the fried shrimp one, and they... More
