Some folks recommended Drago's on our trip to New Orleans. We weren't even that hungry but decided to try their famous char grilled oysters. First off... my husband eats oysters, not me. But when they brought them, my husband was raving so he gave me one... I ate two and then sopped up the spices with bread lol. Husband also... More

Ate at Dragos in Metarie. Oysters tasted like charcoal. Will not come here again!! The service was good but very disappointed in the food.

I hate oysters and my wife hates them more then I do. We reluctantly came here to try the charbroiled oysters because of friends urging us to. They were great, even came back the next day for more!

Love Drago's, hard to beat their chargrilled oysters. Super fast service, very polite waiters. Very good Alligator as well, probably in my top 3. I would hold off on their po boy, just standard at best. Leave it to cold beer and hot oysters and you will be hard pressed to find any better in the Big Easy.

food was good but way overpriced. I asked for a to go order and when I got to the room portion was so small. Paid $18 for lobster mac and cheese and it came in a hamburger box.

The food at Drago's is good...not fabulous, just good. I did not try the oysters, but the others in my party did and enjoyed them. Between us, we had a pasta dish, a tuna dish, and a chicken dish. All, again, we're good, it nothing to rave or write home about. Our server was terrible. I don't often knock a... More

Sole purpose was to try the char broiled oysters. Thought about starting with a half dozen but our server warned against it. Order the dozen and you will be glad you did. She was 100% correct. Also ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese and it was very good. Great friendly service.

This restaurant is famous for grilled oysters and other fish dishes. The food was the best I had tasted. The young server was very helpful and allowed me the try an oyster as I had never tasted them before.

So many interesting choices.on the menu and must return again and again (from Dallas). The waitstaff were Very professional. If you like oysters ask for them grilled in the half shell.
