Stayed at the. Hilton for 4 days and. after a day of touring we opted for a leisurely dinner at the hotel. Catfish was fried lightly and very moist served with fries. My husband had boudin stuffed shrimp which was a tasty modern take on a fractional NOLA dish. Convenient dinner place for Hilton guests.

We were staying in the Hilton and it was raining out and convenience won out over adventure. The restaurant is in the lobby but doesn't feel like it once you are seated. It is spacious and open, with a long bar facing a flaming grill where the signature grilled oysters are prepared.. The menu includes many traditional local dishes, but... More

I don't usually like oysters but they are awesome here. We went at 6pm and didn't wait but the restaurant is huge and they pack you in. I had the jambalaya and it was great. People eating with me had the surf and turf and it was not worth the price (small portions)

This place has NO ambiance, many cafeterias I've eaten in were quieter. Had the charbroiled oysters, they were different, very slimy. The Duck was the main course, meat was good, but gravy was floury, not light. Service was good and friendly. Overall a very average experience.

I read the review where someone had a very bad experience a day or so before I went. I was a little nervous about lunch; however, my group had a very good lunch. I had broiled oysters which were outstanding. There others has pasta and a salad. Everyone's food was served in a timely manor and hot except for the... More

My girl friend and I decided to go to Drago's our first night in New Orleans. I had moderate expectations when we walked in the door. We were blown away by the food and the service provided by a young man named Darrick. He consistently went out of his way to make our dining experience exceptional. One of the best... More

Although the atmosphere has become more hotelized, the oysters at Drago's are still fantastic! Worth the stop for any visitor or local!

On August 10, while visiting New Orleans, we decided to go to Drago's, located at 2 Poydras, New Orleans. Our waitress was Ashley, who seem to not be very friendly, we were seated at table 23. We ordered our food, which included salads for everyone. There were four in our party. Everyone received there salads, and two of us asked for... More
