Way over priced. Whomever heard of charging $12 or $14 for a kids meal that didn't have nothing. It was $80 for appetizer, kids pasta, shrimp poboy, catfish and shrimp, one beer and a souvenir drink. I thought this was exorbitant. Got seated very quick but after that service went down. Food was only average nothing to really write back... More

Looking for a place to eat while shopping in the outlet mall, pulled up website for this place and looked at menu. One person in our party is allergic to seafood, pork, and beef - so wanted to make sure there was a chicken or turkey option for him. The menu had two great-sounding alternatives for him - a turkey... More

I'm actually still in New Orleans. I head back home tomorrow. I purchased a groupon and visited the first night I was here. I'm very happy I did not spend full price on the meal. I had the shrimp and catfish=decent. My husband had oyster=good (but he likes everything). We had the jambalaya as an appetizer, I didn't know it... More

We stopped by here after picking up a family member from a cruise. It was great! I had the raw oysters which were much better than I'd experienced in Gulf Shores. We also had the jambalaya, crab cake po boy and coconut shrimp. The food was hot, fresh and had wonderful flavor. The wait staff was especially courteous and attentive.... More

I have been coming to the Crazy Lobster for a while. I feel awful that I have not left a review. Charge that to my head and not my heart. I have had a great experience with Anna Tusa who is the Director of Operations and handles all of the events and several of Poppy's locations. She is friendly, professional... More

My friends and I were in town for the Essence Music Festival and while leaving the convention center we found Poppy's. We had eaten there before five years earlier and felt it was worth a second try this time around. The restaurant has a prime location, especially since the new outlet mall has been built because it is right outside... More

It was my daughter’s birthday last Sunday, so we decided to take the family out for a late lunch because we had a Groupon for this place. The waitress was really slow to come take our order. I ordered the lobster pasta, my daughter had the boiled shrimp and my wife went for the red beans and rice. The pasta... More

We love coming to New Orleans and on a recent Sunday evening we ate at the Crazy Lobster at the bottom of Canal St. We we walking around -- we loved the view of the river from the restaurant and sat down for a meal. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed, in every possible respect. We ordered the steamed seafood bucket,... More

I chose to take my husband to Crazy Lobster on the riverwalk in New Orleans. I reviewed the menu online on the website of the restaurant. I decided what I would have and was very excited about surprising my husband to dinner here. When we arrived at the restaurant the menu was totally different. The response from staff when I... More
