Lovingly renovated with its prestigious past in mind, The Orleans Grapevine continues the tradition by offering discriminating diners the best in fine dining and an extensive wine list in a beautiful, intimate yet relaxed atmosphere. We stayed at the Bourbon Orleans and this restaurant was right across the street. It's right by bourbon and royal. The restaurant has a quiet courtyard in the back and the food was great. It was a little overpriced, but what isn't in this area!

From the front a person would not think much about the place, once inside it was very nice. We both had a wine flight during their happy hour thinking that it was like other flights that are 5 small glasses of wine to try. Here they give you 3 full glasses that were 14$, regular price would have been close... More

This is a great place. The food was wonderful. We had the scallops, crab cakes and shrimp jambalaya soup. All three were fantastic!! They also serve very fresh hot bread with a red pepper butter which was delicious too!! If you go ask for the outdoor courtyard. Great atmosphere and you would never guess you are a half block off... Although Bourbon St. is just a few steps away, Orleans Grapevine Wine Bar and Bistro is a world away. We experienced first class service in a classy atmosphere along with a great meal and splendid wine. We split the days special salad and fish entry along with their menu item, “Vegetables of the Season”. We were very pleasantly surprised with... More

Picture a large selection of wines from around the world. Knowledgeable staff members. Sample. Then add a small but wonderful menu ranging from snacks to go with the wine, to main courses, to desserts. There are also daily specials. A player piano serenades in the background. There is also a garden seating area.

We wanted a place to start our New Orleans experience, close to our French Quarter hotel, Creole and relaxing without breaking the bank. Orleans Grapevine made the grade. Our server was prompt and knowledgeable about the menu and wine. She willingly checked that the soup du jour was vegetarian and we can confirm tasty too. The spinach salad was also... More

This is a vast improvement over the Bourbon Street food, but just a short walk around the corner. I started with the gumbo which was very good. I then tried the rainbow trout and that was good but not great. The presentation was nice but the rice was cool and the vegetables just barely warm. The trout was good and... More

This restaurant was directly across the street from our hotel & it doesn't look like much - we weren't even sure it was open! Boy, were we fooled! It's cozy inside- maybe about 10 tables and a nice bar. There is an outside patio, which was holding a private party the nite we were there. Everything on the menu looked... More

Atmosphere and location was great, but the service was terrible and our food was under cooked. We got the attention of management who apologized. I tried to finish my chicken (even though my stomach had shrunk from the 1-1/2 hours wait on food and watching other tables be served and leave), but I knew it was over when the roach... More

A nice quaint restaurant, a half block from Bourbon St. just tucked away on a quiet side street, we enjoyed their desserts and winding down before going to bed. They have delicious french press coffee, amazing bread pudding, and average creme brulee. Great staff took care of us even when the kitchen had closed they helped us get last minute... More
