Made from scratch with all local ingredients, this gelato is better than anything I've ever had before. I would eat it morning, noon, and night if I could. The flavors are marvelous. The smooth, frozen mixture overwhelms your taste buds in a constant wash of flavor and satisfaction. It isn't an early snack, but once the shop gets going, you... More

Great place for gelato in the quarter! I had the butter pecan, chocolate/raspberry and my husband had the blueberry and we were very pleased! We will go back!

Honestly it's the people here more than the product that makes it good. The guy working each time we stopped in for a late night coffee and gelato was funny, laid back and gave a feeling that he just went with the motions. Worth a stop in.

SUPER nice employees and great gelato! I'm normally a Sucre fan, but these employees won me over! Not to mention, the cool bead art at very reasonable prices! I got a 1/2 price coffee (.82!!!!) iced cafe Americano (yum) & Abita root beer gelato with Strawberry balsamic gelato - melt in your mouth/tasty/ heavenly! Best gelato I've ever had! Chocolate... I usually frequent Sucre up the block, but for a break went here. Like the title says, well worth the visit. I had a Latte and a scoop of coffee, and coconut gelato. All were excellent. It was an off day and the store was quiet. A nice relaxing time with a great view of Magazine Street.

After having Gelato in Rome, this place just does not compare to having or knowing what good Gelato is.

While another place we frequented had good ice cream that they called gelato, but really wasn't, this place actually has gelato and it is good. I stood in line once and had to give up because the service was so slow, but we showed up later and got waited on right away, so service varies. They have some creative flavors... More

On a hot spring day or any other hot day in New Orleans...for those looking for alcohol free refreshment this is the place to go. La Divina Gelateria is a great place to get some gelato/ice cream or sorbet and enjoy it outside while listening to some street music. What can you ask for more? Go try it out- Enjoy!

We decided to stop at La Divina to get a fix of gelato. Being true to New Orleans style, their gelato included a few liquor-flavored choices, including sazerac. They even had some gelato pre-packaged as dog treats, which I thought was very sweet (no pun intended). We stuck to more traditional flavors, chocolate & sour cherry. Both were very good.... More

Situated in the heart of the French Quarter, the service was OK but the gelato was much welcomed on a hot day in February. Great flavors but a little pricy. They kind of have the monopoly on gelato.
