Excellent Gelato and Sandwiches for people not in a hurry

My wife and I ate launch at La Divina recently and found the food to be an exceptional experience both good and bad. The good (or should I say great) is the food and gelato. It is quite remarkable and worth a visit. The bad was it took sooooo long. I mean long. Order lunch and get dinner... read more

I am an Ice cream lover. I worked in an ice cream shop and it is my favorite dessert. Was it not for ice cream, I would probably be a size 2. - This place was not great. New Orleans food standards are high, and maybe this city doesn't need ice cream because they have so much other great stuff,... More

This was some great gelato. Chances are it's hot the day you're in the french quarter. Get some gelato. This place is great, lots of flavors, even some spicy ones. Chocolate and cayenne pepper was pretty awesome! Short walk from Jackson Square and you can eat outside.

We were on the culinary history and tasting tour when we got to meet David. He gave us a taste of muffuletta and gelato. It was FRESH. You can tell he uses authentic ingredients and cares about his food. MUST GO!!!!

We were sad when the location uptown closed; now we have to find a place to park in the Quarter to have the best gelato ever. Aztec Chocolate is what chocoholics dream of, but other flavors are wonderful too.

This place was our favorite stop for breakfast, snacks, lunch or gelato! Great coffee, sandwiches, gelato and service. Nice people working there. Met the owner and we chatted often. Very conveniently located on the way to and from our hotel. Stopped there every day!

This was our 2nd trip to New Orleans and we had visited this little cafe during our first trip but this time we practically lived there. Their breakfast is quick, easy, and reasonably priced. Their breakfast panini's are delicious and filling. Their lunch salads are huge and their sandwiches are all delicious. The coffee is especially good, as is the... More

I thought that this flavor was really good. The downside of the visit was that the gelato case didn't seem real cold and the gelatos were on the soft side.

We had delicious waffles with real maple syrup. They were made on the premises. Very tasty We also had an eggplant panini it was paper sliced eggplant with sundried tomatoes and cheese very fresh tasting. It is in an out of the way spot. We just happened to stumbled upon it. So glad we did. It's worth a try if... More

Made from scratch with all local ingredients, this gelato is better than anything I've ever had before. I would eat it morning, noon, and night if I could. The flavors are marvelous. The smooth, frozen mixture overwhelms your taste buds in a constant wash of flavor and satisfaction. It isn't an early snack, but once the shop gets going, you... More
