Ordered the drum with baby squashes. Lovely with squash blossoms to top it off. Waiter was most helpful with selections. Appetizer was the corn and crab salad - awesome! This restaurant never let's me down when I come to the area.

We have been to MiLa several times and the food has always been delicious. The dishes are creative and beautifully prepared and presented. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant. Tables not to close together, and there is a quiet elegance about the restaurant that makes it seem special but not too too. Loved the chocolate peanut butter dessert. Could... More

Known for their BBQ Lobster and there's no question why. Killer appetizer. I had the tuna which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the chicken and also cooked to perfection. My son had the duck and clearly the better of the the meals. Desert was ridiculous. Root beer float. ... not what you'd expect but a must get. Banana... More

Service was quick and efficient. Buffet was VERY basic---- scrambled eggs, sausage, hot and cold cereals, breakfast breads, and melon cubes. My daughter did better with brioche French bread with berries. Not awful but not great either. Surprised they had no beignets.

Good day BWeissman. After several years of trying to "one up" other buffets, we decided that we wanted to give our guests a quick and inexpensive option for breakfast. At $12, our buffet (which includes juice and coffee) is possible one of the cheapest in the city. We appreciate you taking the time to comment. Knowing what our guest preferences... More

The restaurant business is such a perilous one that you have to offer up little prayers for the survival of the best ones; there are no guarantees an excellent place will flourish. In the New Orelans guide books, MiLa has the reputation of being undersung -- and boy, is it! We had an absolutely stand-out meal at MiLa in March... More

It's easy to overlook hotel restaurants in NOLA, but several are very good. MILA featured a nice décor, attentive staff and great food. I particularly appreciated that the vegetarian offerings were more than a one item after thought!

Service friendly and helpful. Decor modern, sophisticated and slick. We all had seafood salads that were to die for. Two had the Fried Oyster Salad. Fresh, lightly battered and delicately fried so not to dry out the oysters hug the rim of a large chilled salad bowl. In the center was perfectly chilled iceberg lettuce with fresh buttermilk dressing. Two had... More

The food here is very good, but not great. The service is prompt and attentive, but doesn't make you feel like anything other than a paying diner. The menu is even good and is unique enough, that this should have been a lot better experience than it was. At the end of the night, we just didn't feel like it... More

Poor service, the waiters appear to be impatient, the food was just okay, not worth the price, Would not eat here again

Sleek modern decor in a Central Business District setting lacked the cozy local character of many of the fine dining New Orleans restaurants. We had a very early booking and the dining room was almost deserted. My steak was not that great but my wife's Pepper Crusted Yellow Fin Tuna with Bulgar Wheat and Pink Eye Peas in a Pomegrante...
