A bus boy told us about some wacky flavors at this place, so we had to check it out. We literally raced across town to get here before they closed and it was way worth the effort. We ended up with some of the special flavors and they were all amazing. A must try.

Creole Creamery is very good. If you love ice cream, you will love this, but will have had equally good or better ice cream at some point in your life. They have approximately 24-28 flavors and offer waffle cones, malts, shakes, sundaes and all good ice cream concoctions. Service is reasonably proficient, but can be slow during very busy times.... I'll admit: ice cream is my favorite dessert. But this place is something else! We visited twice in seven days In lieu of lunch. (The walk from the Inline stop on the St Charles trolley is short). I had their four mini-scoop sampler--twice--which I reluctantly shared. Their prices are very reasonable for an "artisan" ice cream shop, especially one in... More

I'm one to get ice cream in every place that I travel. Creole Creamery has the best red velvet cake ice cream that I've ever had. I would definitely recommend trying this place even though it's a little away from downtown.

Simply the best ice cream. Made locally. Unique flavors but also have the tried and true favorites. Definitely a local place. If you're in the Garden District, it is a definite must go. The sign says "Don't be a sample hog" But... there are so many too choose from! It's hard not to. Just leave a good tip in the... More

Always save room for a little ice cream at Creole Creamery. There are not as many choices as what you might find in a larger shoppe, but what they do have is extremely creative and tasty. Had a small which consisted of a scoop of pumpkin spice and a scoop of salted caramel. The salted caramel was extremely good. Lots... More

artisan ice creams and sorbets served in a casual setting. Flavors such a Steen's Molasses and Cafe au lait were very good. Try the four scoop smaller and share!

coming from dinner at Commander's Palace, the valet said this was the best ice cream in the area, so we took the cab north to get some. Wonderfully good. Worth the detour. A must on any ice cream lover's list.

Went to the creole creamery for an early evening ice cream one night while staying in the garden district. It was a great traditional ice cream shop with untraditional flavors. My husband is a fan of floats so he got a scoop of Cookie Monster (cookies and cream) in a coke and found it to be super tasty. I was... More

I am not a huge Ice Cream fan but this place is AWESOME. My favorite is creole cream cheese which is kind of like sweet cream or vanilla without the vanilla - just supper richness. My husband loves the peanut butter.
