Fun Tavern

So first off: I am old. Way older then probably what should have been in Lucy's but since it had the word "retired" in it I figured what the heck? This is a very fun tavern with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is very basic but tasty. We got there about 9:00 the place was hopping. The bar... read more

Stopped here on the way home after a mardi gras parade. Service was remarkably quick and efficient given the circumstances and rush. The jambalaya was surprisingly good (I literally said "you're going to order jambalaya at a mexican restaurant?!") and the quesadilla was surprisingly bad (dry chicken, tasteless pico, no salsa offered, only hot sauce was tabasco). It hit the... More

The food here is rubbish! Small and overpriced portions of gumbo, unimaginative and bland tacos. Perhaps come for a drink, the bar is decent, but stay away from the food.

I stopped at Lucy's for a late lunch and sat at the bar. The waiter was friendly and the service was fine, but the food was inedible. I ordered the Encondido Quesadilla, and when I took my first bite, I could tell something was off. It wasn't until I opened the quesadilla and saw that the avocado in it was... More

eclectic setting, delish breakfast, fun staff, take out Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's; what more could you want on a Saturday morning in New Orleans?

What do you do when you're loving the New Orleans food scene but craving Mexican after 8 days in the Big Easy? We bounced into Lucy's and had the crawfish enchiladas. They were the absolute bomb, a true mix of Mexican and New Orleans style food. This is a cool and funky place in the warehouse district kind of by... More

Great meal at a great price. Tacos are awesome. Brunch menu is great. This is a perfect place for brunch, lunch, dinner or just drinks. You see it all here from family to couples.

Lucy's is a fun and happening bar and grill n the Wharehouse District of New Orleans. It is an easy walk from the Convention Center as well as all ot the art galleries in the area. I ordered the Cali Burger. A turkey burger with avocados, spouts, lettuce, tomatoe and pepper jack cheese. Instead of fries you get a nice... More

Wow, we got 2 burgers, French fries and sweet potatoes fries and teas. Cost was $28.00 for lunch. Those burgers and fries were extremely good. You have to eat there.
