Fun Food Fellowship

After spending all day at the national World War II Museum, I was looking for a simple and inexpensive dinner away from the French Quarter crowd. Lucy's was the ticket. Quick bar service, hot tasty food served quickly, and descent prices make for a fun solo dinner. The beverages were COLD and the... read more

Looking for a place for a casual, not so expensive supper and we decided to try here. We first ordered the fried avocado appetizer. It was quite good, especially the sauce and we quickly finished it off. For the main course, I had the Cagliari Coastline Risotto and my husband had the Fiesta Burger, which came on a tortilla with... More

Great bar to hangout in morning noon or night. Awesome selection of beers and special drinks. Dee makes the best drinks and always suggest the best food of the day. ALL the FOOD IS EXCELLENT. I cant describe how good this place's "bar food" is. After 8pm it gets a little rowdy and the the tables are moved for dancing.... More

I really enjoyed this place, its a few blocks away from some of the busier sections of the city. I personally only came here for drinks and they were affordable with a laid back atmosphere. Our server was very prompt and friendly. Not much else to say I would recommend a stop here.

I really wanted to like this place more. They have a nice margarita and the kitchen was on top of things. The jerk chicken was tasty, moist and well seasoned. Went at happy hour so there were some taco specials my partner took advantage of. He said the steak was good and the beef, the chicken extremely bland and the... More

The food was amazing! The mahi mahi sandwich was incredible. The atmosphere was fun, but the service could have been better. The waitress " forgot about us" and we sat for about 20 minutes before our order was taken. ( the restaurant wasn't busy at all either) The food made up for the service though.

Had a late breakfast at Lucy's. The food was very good, love the biscuits! Their Eggs Benedict are served on spinach with a very savory Hollandaise sauce. Their biscuits were warm and buttery, delicious!

We stopped in another place whose kitchen happened to be closed. A girl inside also happened to work here and recommended it because I was looking for something with gluten free options. I was able to get a burger with a gluten free bun which was cooked to order. Lucy's has a fun atmosphere, good food, and is nicely priced.

This is a fun place with a great atmosphere. Unfortunately this was not a good experience. I wanted to like the place. Food: they don't have a kids menu which was disappointing. (We were not offered one) I had the fish tacos which come on tiny tortillas, I think they might have been 3-4" in diameter. I'm from Texas where... More
