Good mexican and midwestern can be smoky and loud

The restaurant adjoins the bar which can have live music, but the food is worth it. I get a combo of the perch or walleye if they have it, and maybe some Mexican dishes. Chips and salsa are the pre-food. Excellent tarter sauce with the good perch. Try the elephant ear dessert. Good place to... read more

LeRoy's Hot Stuff looks like a tough biker bar, and parts of it are! But the big surprise is that they have great authentic Mexican food, and a warm family welcome in the restaurant side. The wait staff treats you like family, and Le =Roy himself is a great benefactor to the community and it's residents. Monday night half-priced appetizers... More

Had a great few nights of drinking and singing. The beer was good, shots were better. Not sure what else to say

Let me take you on my Leroy's experience, I circle around the building looking for the best spot. which is nearly impossible to find being a dirt parking lot I had no choice, parked in front of the dining door where the hugest puddle resided. No worries Jumped that bad boy gracfully. Being that I'm solo I decided to check... More

We stoped in on Saturday for a drink and dinner before the band started. Staff member Nicole Leonard was friendly, prompt, and helpful. The food was excellent. We'll be back. Dennis & Beth Dewitt, MI

Leroy's is one of the first bars I visited when I moved to Porter. The staff is super friendly (especially Rose) and the food is great. The live entertainment is exceptional. It may look like a rough place, but I have met some wonderful people there. Leroy even stops in frequently. I live in Scotland now, but the second bar... More

I lived in southern Texas for 3 years and got to know what REAL authentic Mexican food tastes like. Leroy's has the best food and great margaritas! My husband and I go nowhere else when we want good Mexican food and their soups are the best too! They allow smoking in the bar half of the restaurant but it has... More

This is a great place to go for lunch. It does have a family dining room if you have kids. Theres quite a bit on the menu. This week alone I've had the italien beef one day and the steak burrito another. Highly recommended!

I first tried Leroy's years back. I was put off by the tobacco smoke that permeated the whole place (something that is possible to control) and by the fact that as a family we were relegated to a side room (Indiana's weird regulations regarding establishments that serve some forms of alcohol in eating establishments). This colored my gastronomic experience. Over... More
