Excellent quality wood-fired pizzas made right in front of you at the counter. Love the fact that you can see the fire from the restaurant -- makes for a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pizzas are nice and light, just enough for one person without having to do the "walk of shame" (shuffling out, pants unbuttoned) like when you've overeaten... More

Ordered at the cashier, pizza was delivered quickly after. Reminded me of European type pizzas. Individual toppings. Not covered in cheese, as happens at many restaurants here. The crust is hand tossed, very good. It is not fancy, but good food.

Pizza is often seen as just another type of fast-food but this place shatters that myth. Truly original recipes and great ingredients plus great value for money.

A good quality wood-fired pizza in the neighborhood of Camp Randall Stadium. Nothing special, but hits the spot on a Sunday afternoon. This restaurant does not have table service. You order from the cashier and then go sit down until it is brought to you. You serve yourself a drink from the soda fountain. The price is reasonable, which probably... More

Three of us ordered a Diavola and a Olicetto. The pizza came out quickly and both were delicious. It is noisy and was difficult to find a place to sit but the pizza made up for that. Will visit again the next time I'm in Madison.

Stayed overnight in Madison on a trip home and decided pizza was in the cards for us. Read a few reviews on TA and did some looking in a Madison dining guide and Pizza Brutta looked like the spot for us. One of the main factors was that people consistently said it was a family friendly environment in a family... More

Glass Nickel is a great greasy pizza but sometimes you just want a brick oven pizza. Pizza Brutta's pizza has a crispy crust with fresh local ingredients. I am a traditional girls and love a good margherita pizza. This pizza is delicious. A Madison favorite!

The menu is complex but remember you can just build your own pizza and pick any ingredients for them to make for you. It is a terrific crust. A sleepy place that is run well.

They were open on memorial day. Lots of choices, they had so many pizzas I wanted. Knowledgeable staff, and great pizza makers. Wood fired oven, which is great. They have great drinks too. The only drawback was some of the pizza slices were drastically smaller than others. But, the flavors were excellent.
