Fabulous pizza!

Excellent crust, great range of toppings, moderate prices, freshly baked to order in a true pizza oven...very good salads, amazing smells while you wait. What more could you ask for! No wonder Pizza Bruta is a top favorite in Madison.

This is a small joint where pizza is prepared to your specification. The pizzas are about 10 inches in diameter. The crust was relatively thin but adequate. There are numerous choices of add-on. You go to the counter and place the order. The waiter serves it. The pizza smelled great and tasted great. This is a cozy little joint with... More

My husband and I love food and especially pizza. I've tried lots of different specialty pizza places, and pizza brutta is my favorite. Their crispy thin crust made in the pizza oven and extremely fresh and high quality toppings make it a great experience every time. Also, their salads are tasty too and I like that you can watch them... More

Pizza Brutta is a must for anyone who enjoys a great pie! Great ingredients, wood fired oven and friendly service, My daughter and I stopped at Pizza Brutta on our last trip to Madison. We stopped because it was convenient, but were pleasantly surprised by the service and food. The pizza was so good we ordered a second. We will... More

Took our niece, a UW undergrad, out for lunch and this was her choice as it's a favorite of hers. I can see why, we chose 3 different pies to split among 4 people and they were all outstanding with fresh ingredients and excellent crust.

We ordered take out to take back to our hotel. They don't deliver. Pizza is good and they seem to use high quality toppings. Salad was very good. Flat bread was so so...coulda used some dipping sauce or somethin. It was cool tho, cause they had an extra flat bread left over, so they gave it to me for free.... More

The service was great. It was very clean. Had a very cool vibe, but honestly I have had much better pizza. But, I would give the whole experience of eating at Pizza Brutta in its locale 4 stars. It is a very cool place to be. Afterwards, you can go check out Trader Joes, which is awesome.

Plain and simple...just awesome. The Prosciutto Arugula is to die for. The crust here is the best I think I've ever had. Trust me. Try it. The setting is cool. Order as you come in and they bring the food to your table. Pizza is best eaten on premise as it is cooked at very high heat and cools quickly.... More

Pizza Brutta di Madison has the best pizza and caprese salad outside of Italy, and I have lived in many parts of Italy. The mozzarella is fresh, handmade, and juicy! The olive oil is out of this world tasty, as well as the locally grown basil. I recommend the Diavola pizza for a true taste of Italy in Wisconsin. The... More

Neapolitan style Pizza made with a Wisconsin local ingredients. Beautiful and healthful fuel for the body. True Italian cooking focuses on seasonal and local ingredients. Why we would import Italian ingredients is beyond me. Create dishes with what we have here.
