Came here for dinner after a long day of working Canoecopia, and we were not disappointed. They've got a beer list, and they know how to serve it. The list is so good you'll want to stay all week eating Belgian frites and trying new brews. Ate dinner here Saturday night, and came back Sunday. Both were excellent.

I had a great meal at Brasserie V. The waitress brought over delicious bread and butter to start, and then we ordered the moules-frites for the table, which was perfect to share between 4 or 5 people. The fries were irresistible. I had the smoked turkey sandwich and it was also great. It was served on bread from one of... More

This is THE place for beer in Madison. My friends and I had an amazing time on a recent Sunday evening in Brasserie V. The tap list looked great, but as the bottles were all on sale (a Sunday deal) we delved into the extensive bottle list. And we were blown away. One bottle after another of fantastic domestic and... We have found that the quality and innovation has long left Brasserie V. Their luncheon and Dinner menu is not distinctive. We visited for lunch. We ordered the V Burger and a half Avocado BLT with Butternut Squash Soup. The soup was very flavorful. The half sandwich was small even as a half. Very little avocado and Bacon. The V... More

DOS 10/6/2014 I spent the evening at Brasserie V with friends upon suggestion by one that when they'd last been there a couple years ago the food was very good. Since I had a City Tin with a $10 off the tab coupon - I was more than game to try out the place. I'd heard many a good review... More

We love coming to the Brasserie V. The beer selection is extensive, the servers friendly and knowledgeable (they will give you free samples) and the food is delicious. My “usual” is a glass of the smooth St. Bernardus Abt 12 beer from Belgium and a cone of their fantastic French fries. The fries are just like the ones I ate... More

This is the place to go if you're a fan of Belgian and European ales and beers. That said, the food also was good. Steak et frites was delicious, Belgian salad good, moules ok. Service was good, prices reasonable. Overall, a fun place for a night out with friends.

The Brasserie V is the best place in Madison to sample a wide range of domestic and foreign beers. The Belgium beers are especially good. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. We especially like the salads, which are fresh and tasty. A "small" salad is a decent helping. Only opt for... More

I would give this place a high review, because they have a wonderful beer selection and pretty good food to boot. But I was confused by the few times I had been here by the number of young mommies with their massive strollers trying to negotiate to a spare table. It is a very tight fit, and the hard surfaces...
