Large beer selection with good food.

This was my second lunch visit. I had a bad experience the first time but with all of the other excellent reviews thought I would give it another try. For sure don't order wine here-the pour was very small, maybe 2 oz for a $10 glass. I ordered the lunch half order sandwich with soup. The pea and ham soup... More

The offering of imported beers, both draft and bottles, is contained in a multi page menu; second to none in Madison. Food is locally sourced, limited in choices but the basics are there and very good. Warm friendly atmosphere, very crowded for a TUE evening (everyone having a good time) and service is excellent.

Wonderful casual atmosphere ! So many choices for beer or wine. We shared a the Belgian salad with Apple, almond, warm bacon over wonderful greens. I had moules frites and my husband had steak frites. Both so good! Service was great. We will be there often!

Brasserie V was great for the beer lovers in our group. A couple did comment that the beer list (a book) was too lengthy and should be cut down some, while the menu for dining was small and limited and could have expanded. Our waitress was pleasant and checked in with us often enough, and given the overwhelming beer list... More

We went here with our family members who are local and love this place. The food was good but the menu a little too limited for my tastes. But the ambience and company were great. It would be a place to which we'd return.

If you want to have a world wide beer selection this is the place for you. Their food is very good, their frites are fabulous, and the service is great. I have been there countless times and have never felt rushed to leave. I personally love that they have no televisions. It is a place where people go to have... More

Had the best burger and fries. The sauce on the burger was delish. Cute place and great service. Loved it!

Brasserie V is great, especially if you like beer. It has an outstanding beer selection. You never know what will be on tap. Lots of Belgians and other international beers, many of which you have never heard of before. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and will help you make your selection. My only complaint is that they need a bit... More
