Best steak frites or moules frites you will find in the US, and the beer selection is incredible. Although belgian beers are the forte, they have craft beers from around the globe - both tap & bottle. The food is almost all locally sourced, and really consistent. Great people (both clientele & staff) - we always meet someone interesting in... More

Went in for a lunch on a Saturday. Very nice beer selection. (Especially on the Belgian front, as is expected.) The food selection is OK. The quality was quite nice. Although, they had issues getting my wife's burger done right. The service was not bad. But, not very attentive either. We didn't care for the acoustics of the place. Lots... More

We had lunch here a week ago and it was excellent- so we stopped again today when we returned to Madison on an errand- so my review covers two visits. I’ll keep this brief. The service was very good- we were promptly greeted and then seated. Both days we were there just a little before noon- so we probably beat... More

A friend suggested we meet here for dinner. It's a favorite of his. I can see why. It was busy on a Friday night and they do not take reservation. Our wait was about 45 minutes. While waiting, we tasted a few of their many excellent beers and ordered some frites. The frites were hot, crispy and delicious. For dinner,... More

This awesome find on Monroe street is so charming! They have a huge beer list with international beers, many on draft! The menu is simple, local, and yet amazingly delicious! Get the V burger!

Ate here for lunch on our way out of town. A bit off the beaten path, if you are hanging around the square, but nice 'hipster-ish' neighborhood, with a Trader Joes, vinyl shop, boutique wine and smoke shop very near by. Sat at the bar. Staff was very nice. Tap selection unique, with mostly Belgian offerings. Very large can /... More

I got the burger and friends, they were just OK and overall, I was a bit let down from reading the other reviews on here. The service was OK, but not great and the water they served was in tiny glasses and at room temperature, which I thought was odd. Decor isn't anything special either, it looks like they just... More

What a wonderful restaurant! We went before a show downtown. We got lucky, they had half price for a bottle of wine! We enjoyed a wonderful Malbec. The waiter was very knowledgable in gluten free. He knew right away what I could have that was gluten free. I had the duck entree. It was cooked perfect. The side salad was... More

We don't drink much alcohol, so the huge beer selection, multiple pages in the drink menu, were lost on us. But on a cold Wednesday night, the place was hopping, so if you like to drink, this might be your place. We ordered the spinach and beet salad to start. It comes in 2 sizes and we split the small....
