Pricey, but a Great Experience

It costs $38/person to go into Samba, a somewhat hidden, but chic restaurant just a couple of steps off famed State Street. This is really an interesting place, and a very different dining experience. It starts with a truly all-inclusive salad bar, featuring things like Tortas, olives, cheeses... read more

We bought two certificates off of Groupon to use at Samba. Six of us traveled to Madison to arrive at Samba at 5:15. We had made a reservation. We were escorted in and soon, Joanne, our waitress came to the table and shared with us what our courses for the night would be. The salad bar has truly unique items... More

A Brazilian steakhouse is a wonderful thing - everything from the amazing cold and hot salads/dishes and the fabulous meat and grilled pineapple that the Gauchos bring around when you are ready. The salads and meats are Americanized, but still exceptional. I highly recommend this meal experience. An added bonus is the history of the building - check out its... More

A good Brazilian steakhouse is hard to beat. This is a very nice place, but Fogo de Chao in Chicago blows it out of the water, too bad that's so far.

I was finishing up an Advocare 24 day challenge and was able to maintain my special diet while eating delicious food.

The restaurant is beautiful (and on the 2nd floor). The drinks are outstanding. Try the strawberry mojito. The salad bar is good. The cheesy bread rolls are the star. But make sure you come prepared to eat meat. The servers walk around with wonderful cuts of meat and shave customers off a slice at a time. They do the same... More

My husband and I met friends at Samba's for our Valentine's celebration, and are so glad we did! The salad bar and vegetable selections were excellent - a nice variety to balance the next course of meats! The meats were all succulent and VERY tasty - the parmesan pork is EXCELLENT! I love the offering of the grilled pineapple -... More

Very fun place to eat, you have this gong with red and green at your table. When you want them to bring you something you turn it to green. Then they just come to your table offering you this or offering you that. I recommend trying everything once. I tried lamb for the first time. It wasn't my thing. But... More

This was my first visit to Samba's and I was impressed with the vast salad bar options. My husband and I have eaten at several Las Vegas buffets and found the quality of Samba's offerings superior to some found there. Even though I did enjoy the flavor of most of the meats that came around; some were a little dry... More

Having enjoyed this restaurant in the past, we planned a dinner with our kids and grandkids in January. We all were very disappointed this time. First, the servers did not come around as often with the meat selections. My wife and daugher in law were the last to finish their salads and the rest of us were already enjoying our... More
