I gave this pizza 2 shots because I've heard good things and really wanted to like it. I really enjoy liking a new pizza because it gives you one more option in the world of the single greatest culinary creation in the history of the universe. I'm pretty sure Roman Candle makes pizza aimed at the under 10 year old... More

Stopped in here for slices of pizza with two friend's because other friend's suggested this cute little pizza parlor. I give it a thumbs up. Great tasting pizza. Not a fancy place and not over priced, good service and ample seating. I would happily eat here again.

Roman Candle is an ideal place to enjoy a fresh caesar salad, a tasty pizza, and a great local brew. Kind of small, so get there early. Limited seating on the sidewalk. Pizza's are diverse and the sauces are fantastic.

I really like what this Willy Street Roman Candle does with simple ingredients! I really like the "Veggie Candle," with it's spicy sauce-artichokes-banana peppers. Most often, we split a house salad and order the "Roman Candle" which is like the Veggie Candle plus sausage. Work your way through the micro brews, too.

Nice little pizza place over on the east side of Madison. The Greek salad was excellent and the large served four of us. the pizza took a little bit of time, but was excelltn and worth waiting for.

Fun pizzareria with good food, even my picky 14 year old loved it. One caveat, pizza is made fresh and takes some time, but well worth it.

Their beer garden is wonderful. Great place to spend summer Friday of Saturday evening. The beer is great. The have allowed Badger Honor Flight to sell burgers and Brats as a fund raiser.

I won't go anywhere else for pizza after being spoiled at Roman Candle. The dairy-free "vegan destroyer" pizza is so good, you won't even miss the cheese! Their roasted red pepper soup is also heavenly.

Great assortment of toppings for a nice pizza crust - thin and crisp (but not paper thin). The toppings were a little sparse for my tastes. The spinach salad is great - we got a large thinking it would be enough to share among 3 people and it was, frankly, a little small. I wonder how small the small is!

My first trip to Madison included a night on the sidewalk dining area of this neighborhood joint. The cold beer and delicious pizza rocked out of the kitchen with very friendly (and good looking) service to boot! The summer night had cooled off a bit so sitting outside was a treat. The cold Spotted Cow Ale from New Glarus Brewing... More
