Just across the street form the picturesque Wisconsin State Capitol, proudly sits the little-big restaurant that could. From its' outsized and colorful lively décor to the background irish fiddle music playing throughout your meal, a better meal to be had by visitors and residents of Madison would be hard to come by. Personable service and good food took the chill... More

Options are traditional Irish food and great American specialties. Fun beer combinations (loved the Black Cow). View of the Capitol, not very $$

Get the corned beef sandwich. You won't be disappointed. A friend and I dined inside during the work week. It was nice outside so the tables were full. There was one or two other diners inside while we ate, so it seemed it was a bit slow. Food was great, service was good. It was a stone's throw from the... More

I had corned beef and cabbage the first time through town and Guinness pot roast a week later. My mouth waters just remembering. Crab cake appetizer was also delicious. Enjoyed the live music - nice touch. I don't know if they have delivery (doubt it), late night or brunch. Didn't notice a children's menu, but wasn't looking for one. Didn't... More

The service here is top notch! While attending my brother's wedding brunch, I was charmed by this quaint Irish pub. While the split seating was a bit awkward, the staff made up for this. The bar service was impeccable, the food was delicious (especially the fruit and quiche), the atmosphere was fit for a party, and the view of the... More

Went there a few times with colleagues during our business trip. Just how an Irish pub should be. Great atmosphere, decent food and of course Guiness. Like all Irish pubs you can also watch sports on TV. We were watching the world champion soccer there. Nice place to be.

Great downtown location. Menu contains good variety of food which will not disappoint you. Place is getting a little rundown, so could use a facelift, but food remains unchanged.

I am really picky on my Friday fish fry & Brocach certainly made my top 5. Excellent!!! My husband had one of their other specials which he really enjoyed. Lots of good things on the menu to choose from. Love the atmosphere. They are right across the street from a Trader Joe's so you can go there before or after... More
