The food was terrific was awesome (especially the bread pudding) and the service too. We came up for the Hyatt and were pleasant surprised at this restaurant!

The bangers and mash were delicious and the beer was cold. You can dine with your pet on the patio. We were right off the street across from the Capitol downtown. It was good food in a neat location. The family and the dog enjoyed the meal.

The service here is top notch! While attending my brother's wedding brunch, I was charmed by this quaint Irish pub. While the split seating was a bit awkward, the staff made up for this. The bar service was impeccable, the food was delicious (especially the fruit and quiche), the atmosphere was fit for a party, and the view of the... More

Went there a few times with colleagues during our business trip. Just how an Irish pub should be. Great atmosphere, decent food and of course Guiness. Like all Irish pubs you can also watch sports on TV. We were watching the world champion soccer there. Nice place to be.

Great downtown location. Menu contains good variety of food which will not disappoint you. Place is getting a little rundown, so could use a facelift, but food remains unchanged.

I am really picky on my Friday fish fry & Brocach certainly made my top 5. Excellent!!! My husband had one of their other specials which he really enjoyed. Lots of good things on the menu to choose from. Love the atmosphere. They are right across the street from a Trader Joe's so you can go there before or after... More

Came here for dinner early Sunday after flying in from AZ. Ordered the fried cheese curds, and they were good. I love those in Madison and these were good. Then I ordered salad, which was very good. The Irish music was excellent but we could not talk. The rest of my colleagues were happy with their meals.

We had a group reservation on a friday night, everything in the downtown area was busy. When we arrived we were greeted and taken right to our table. The waiter was prompt, took the beverage order and then the appetizer order. It took a bit to get the appetizers but they were very busy. Our food order accurate and the... More

I knew from past experience that an Irish pub in Madison is like a quick trip to Ireland. I was not disappointed with my visit to Brocach. The place was crowded and noisy, but as a former Madisonian, I expected that. What I did not expect was fast service and wonderful food. I was expecting typical pub food, but the... More
