Wonderful Hotel Cafe

We had breakfast here twice during our stay at the Concourse and we had lunch unfortunately only once. Service was great and the food was excellent. Prices were very reasonable. Not much atmosphere, but the place is efficient. Try it, you'll enjoy it !

Very limited menu, but good food and good service. An easy walk from downtown hotels - even in the very cold Wisconsin weather!

Located on the 1st floor of the Concourse Hotel, we had some difficulty finding it. If doing a map search you may want to search for the hotel itself. The restaurant was empty when we arrived which was a bit off putting. But based on other reviews we stayed. Was pleasantly surprised by their menu. Very impressive offerings. My short... More

Server and bartender were fine; service was good to great. Burger looked fabulous; meat tasted weird. We ate them; no one got sick. Just not a good flavor.

This adjacent (connected) to the Madison Concourse Hotel, so it's an easy decision to head there for breakfast. I ate there two mornings in a row; once for the buffet, and then from the menu. In both instances, the service was prompt, attentive, and courteous. I'll be back.

I was there for a weekend brunch. The buffet had variety and delicious choices. The service was also great. They would refresh my coffee mug quite frequently.

We dine here each year, and are always disappointed that more people don't know how good this restaurant is. There have rarely been more than 10 people there at dinner, although it is busy at lunch. The food is excellent and not over-priced. I started with the creamy carrot apple soup, which was delicious, flavored with coconut and ginger. My... More

The chef creates food from Wisconsin ingredients that rival any expensive restaurant in Madison -- without a hefty bill. I had choices that were all so interesting it was hard to pick. I had impeccable service from the staff. Just because this restaurant is in a hotel so not pass it by. It is well worth a meal to see... More

I liked the ambiance and presentation of the food. But our fish dishes were mediocre. bland flavored. When you vow to each other that you will never come here for dinner again (we return every October to the hotel) that is not a good sign. I still gave a very good rating because of the good breakfast. Many choices, fast... More
