Good Bar Fppd

Good Salads and sandwiches. The cobb salad was served sort of odd with the ingredience in separate piles on the plate where you can mix them in any order you want. There was lots of everything except lettuce! Was still good, just different. I had the French Dip and it was very good. Service was... read more

The atmosphere is sort of like a diner, but the bar is reminiscent of a London-style pub. The food is mediocre for a restaurant but decent for a bar, and the drinks are average but well-priced. Staff is always friendly. Demerits for painfully loud music at night, even on weekdays.

I went here expecting to just have average bar food. I was shocked and delighted to have a delicious and fresh salad. One of the best I've had on the west side! Granted, the bar staples are good too - steak sandwich, appetizers. The only thing I've been disappointed by are the nachos. Which is kind of shocking since those... More

In town on business with colleagues and we went looking for something not chain and came across this place. Decided to give it a go. When we walked in, we were greeted by the strong odor of cigarette smoke! Really?!? I felt like I was eating on a runway, the way the booths faced directly out to the aisle. Food... More

Ate here today for the first time. They have a pretty decent lunch menu. Some cool different types of burgers. Happy hour from 3-6. $1 off any mixed drink which I found nice because most places it's just for rail booze. Also beer specials. It was quiet. Staff was friendly. Food came out quick. I'd go back for sure.

It's a dive bar. Sticky floors, lots of locals. They have daily specials, and I'm guessing that's one of the only draws. Went to check it out, had one drink, left asap. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good.

We were visiting Madison and had a couple hours to kill before a wedding. We spotted O'Grady's and stopped in for a beer, which turned into two beers and the shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was amazing!! The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. I particularly liked the giant sized badger who was keeping watch over the place. Friendly bar staff. Cold... More

We have been here before and it's been good enough to return. Our lunch over the weekend was unexpectedly great! We had a Reuben wrap and BLT with clam chowder. The craft beer choices were good and served cold! Dani was a fast, friendly, attentive server. Try this place if you haven't!

Visited our son in Madison and wanted to try something new. We stumbled upon O'Gradys. I had the reuben and it was excellent. My husband and sons had burgers and said they were very good. The four of us ate fro $35 with tip...granted, we all drank water, but that is still a very reasonable meal for 4 adults. We... More

More of a sports bar atmosphere and menu. Not really Irish. Had lunch here. Fish had fish and chips -- soggy and cold. I would not stop here again. Server was really busy (place 1/4 filled) and kept apologizing for her service. Not a big deal, but she made it a big deal by apologizing so much it was over... More
