Prices at Michael's are always going to be higher than most other custard places, but it's definitely not to compare. Summer isn't complete without a visit to Michael's!

I had the turtle Sunday and it was tasty. Vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, caramel and pecans. It was delightful. My mom had the homemade waffle cone and she said it was really good. Prices are a little high but the custard is really good.

One of the best frozen custard places in Madison. Great flavors and atmosphere, outdoor tables are nice to enjoy the outdoors while having your custard. I recommend trying this place.

My wife and I came here a couple of weeks ago for the first time in several years. Its good frozen custard but the prices are a touch high. If you want cheap frozen custard Culver's is cheaper but the variety here is better. never had the food though so I don't know what it's like.

We got coupons from the Olbrich Botanical Gardens when we did the scavenger hunt. You don't really need to find the butterfly stamps, because they will give you a coupon anyway. The coupon says One Free Junior Cone, but when we asked the server if we could just get ice cream in a dish, (which according to the menu is... More

Michael's has some of the creamiest custards I've ever had. Get a big waffle cone or indulge in any of their sundaes. And be sure to take home a pint, quart, or gallon from their freezer. I'm not has high on their other food offerings. I just think they're a little pricey.

The food is only so so but you are really coming for the custard. Enjoy a turtle sundae and take home a few pints of ice cream for later.

Being from New England where ice cream rules, frozen custard is not quite the same. Kind of like a cross between what we call "soft serve" and "solid" ice cream, it doesn't have quite the flavor we are used to. Michael's has chocolate, vanilla, and the flavor of the day plus lots of toppings. It is rather expensive compared to... More

Michael's is the perfect stop on a hot summer evening. Diner style food that is good for when you just want a burger and fries are satisfying. But the real draw is the frozen custard. They always rotate in a specialty flavor, but I am partial to the vanilla with some good toppings. The Peanut Butter Cup Sundae is topped... More

Micheal's custard is by far my most favorite dessert of all time. The sundaes are to die for. I'm a little glad it's so overpriced... otherwise I'd eat it constantly. Food is also good, but expensive.
