OMG! Wonderfully Madison with great food. Our noontime breakfast was delicious. Yes, it is counter service, but we were in no hurry. I had the chorizo scramble with wheat berry toast. Mushrooms, chorizo and Asigo cheese- devine! Served with amazingly fresh salsa and potatoes. Hubby had standard eggs, sausage and fresh sour dough toast- loved it. The coffee was truly... More

We heard about the lovely scones that they make. Heads up they don't take plastic. Cash only. We didn't know that and we placed our order and we were about to pay then we found out no plastic. So we looked in the wallet and the car for cash. We were still short to pay. The owner walked by and... More

Great find on Willy Street for breakfast. The Blueberry Scone was the best I have ever had. I can't wait to make a return visit.

The staff at the counter was very friendly, and service was incredibly quick. Order was up in about five minutes, and the roasted turkey sandwiches were delicious. The basil salad dressing was also a treat! Prices are average for the area -- like $7 a meal. The atmosphere is cute and kitschy, and I actually liked getting my own water... More

Busy, busy as soon as the doors open at 8 am! Cashier was friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and appealing visually and gastronomically. I love the upstairs, as the couches are warm and welcoming. Good value.

We went for breakfast, had a skillet and toast - be aware that you do all the service, get your own silverware, water, napkins etc, then go back to get your food after they scream your name. The restaurant is in a house converted to this establishment, very cozy. We took a table upstairs, old furniture, some tables - quaint... More

Overall the food can be hot or miss, but it used to be that you could count on the service. Maybe it was Memorial Day and the staff didn't want to be there, but the service to was bad enough to keep me from going back for a while. The person running the cash register rather than gently reminding us... More

The line was out the door the morning we went, but we decided on a meal in the line and I was off to find a table while my friend waited in the line to order. As soon as someone got up from a table it was quickly scooped up by someone else, so I was doing recon more than... More

I could go here every day. If I lived here I would. Just had scones and coffee, but I would love to eat my way through their menu. Comfortable food. Vegan and veg friendly, gluten free options
