Funky and Fun

This spot is truly unique. The food is fresh and local. Best for breakfast/brunch. The place has quirky charm and it's a fave of locals. You order, then find a seat and wait til they call your number. (Sometimes if I feel lazy or totally want to be waited on, this is a drawback for me). The... read more

This is a very unique café with great food and the best scones you could have want. Coffee is great and it is a fun experience going here.

CASH Only Lazy Jane's is a small bakery/cafe offering scones (some vegan), excellent espresso and a selection of breakfast foods. The SCC is scrambled eggs with scallions and cream cheese - perfectly prepared and just the right amount. Try the lemon cream and/or raspberry scones for a delicious baked good to start the day. When you enter, get in line,... More

The process goes like this: get in line, place your order (cash-only), find a table, wait for your name to be called (or in our case a vibrating light-up device to buzz), go get your food from the kitchen window. We ate here on a rainy Saturday morning close to 10 and had to wait in line for about 15... More

We took our family of 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 infant to Lazy Jane's for breakfast over the Memorial Day holiday and it was fantastic. The food was great and the eating area was cozy with plenty of room for our group. You have to wait in line to order (about 10 minutes with our group).....but the food was... More

Expect to wait in long lines. Expect well-worn furniture. Expect to carry your own food and clean up after yourself when you're done. There are free refills on coffee, though, if you want to tromp back down the stairs and pour your own. Lazy Jane's has been one of my favorite go to places for years. Coaxed into a former... More

People who like this place call it "funky" and think it has an "interesting" ambiance. Another way to describe this place is as a local neighborhood cafe and bakery that doesn't do anything special. The pancakes, eggs, bacon, scones and other baked goods are all average, and there is nothing that interesting about the spot, unless you think random paintings... More
