Nice place for breakfast in Madison. Interesting decorations and a friendly atmosphere. The service was quick and food very tasty. You order and pick up yourself and the system works great. Good value for the money. The name in Scrabble tiles on the side of the building is cute

Cute place for breakfast. Quirky decor, good coffee, great baked goods. Fun, funky place to start the day. Lots of hot selections too, including a mac & cheese pancake!

Our son live around the corner from this very good breakfast place. It is quite busy but the service is friendly and cheerful. We I has scrambled eggs with bacon cheese and jalapeño and thought it was excellent. The coffee was great. I usually do not like to eat at places where I order at a counter and have to... More

This is a great local place for breakfast. A little off the beaten path but there are charming stores on Williamson (Willy) Street if you ate too much and need to walk a little afterward. I LOVE their scones. They are a nice biscuit type scone, not too dry and not too sweet. The lemon or blackberry are the best.... More

I've lived in Madison for years and never had the chance to make it to this near east side landmark. This weekend I finally had a chance to rectify that after an early Sat. morning trip to the Farmer's Market. My wife and I arrived around 9am for breakfast. The cafe was busy but the service was efficient and there... More

We needed a breakfast place on our roadtrip and decided to try Lazy Jane's based on reviews. We were not disappointed. Had the egg sandwich and a scone. Excellent quality of food and delicious baked goods. Coffee was very good too.

Great place for breakfast or an afternoon coffee & snack. Good coffee, pastries & egg dishes. They make morning buns (like the old Ovens of Brittany's Brittany buns), scones, etc. There's a line in the morning, so go early or be prepared to wait. The logistics: you'll stand in line (go in the entrance by the street) and order at... More

Waited on a Saturday morning for a table, staring at the bakery counter, oh my....there was only one almond croissant left, would some one else in line order it? Arrggghhhh! Lucky we scored the croissant and a wonderful breakfast as well. The French Toast is out of this world made with Brioche served with apples (freshly cooked) and cream. Turkey... More

I came in for a late lunch and had no problem finding either a parking place or a table. I had the grilled cheese and avocado sandwich. It had actual sliced avocados, not some avocado spread like many restaurants serve. Just the right amount of cheese and tomato. I had to try a lemon- raspberry scone after reading all the... More

Lazy Jane's had been recommended to us by one of son's co-workers and it was a great choice!! The food was wonderful -- both the breakfast entrees and the pastries. The scones deserve special mention -- tasty and moist. Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the whole atmosphere. We plan to go again the next time we are in... More
