Everything was delicious, fresh and tasty. Had an excellent breakfast and will return again. The staff had their meal at the end of our dining experience and it was a pleasure to watch them enjoy the combinations they had just recommended and share camaraderie and fine food. We ordered frittatas that were great but they brought out samples of doughnut... More

The food here is excellent. The only reason I'm not giving this restaurant 5 stars is because it's so crowded (what a wonderful problem for them) and is too small for the business they have. I had their breakfast scrambler and pumpkin latte for lunch. Both were tasty and the latte was very pumpkinny just the way I like it.... More

It's how I would want my breakfast to be prepared. Fresh, tasty unique and just enough to fill me without pushing me over the edge. Marigold is my breakfast whenever I'm in town.

This place rocks. I LOVE the duck confit hash/salad. Everything is fresh and inventive. No reservations so you may have to wait a bit and on a weekend it can be crowded and loud, but that's all part of the flavor for me. I would not take someone here that is hard of hearing or wears a hearing aid -... More

Stopped here while visiting Madison for a Badger football game. We visited with a party of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meals. I ordered the duck confit hash and it was very good. All commented on how delicious the potatoes were.

We enjoy the Marigold's great food and unique atmosphere so much that we will travel from Green Bay to Madison, WI just for breakfast and then go to the Madison Farmers Market on the Capitol Square several times a year. All of the food is made from fresh ingredients and in season garden vegetables. There Saturday specials are very unique... More

This is a casual, noisy place full of mid-morning buzz on a foggy Thursday morning. Patrons of all ages were there for a late breakfast (like us), for a family gathering, for an out-of-the office coffee/work session and so on. The point is, this is a place where people seem to want to go to. By now, readers know you... More

Very casual, you stand in line to order and they bring your food to the table, if you can find one. We got in around 1 pm, on Saturday, and it was busy. They serve breakfast until 3 pm, so the menu offerings were many. Very fresh ingredients, fun to visit. Not expensive.

We just enjoyed our first brunch at Marigold Kitchen. What a tasty treat. We especially enjoyed the mixed greens and light vinaigrette that were served with our meals (this isn't a usual offering at most Wisconsin restaurants for breakfast/brunch). My friend and I had omelettes with Marigold potatoes and sour dough toast, and my husband had the quiche. We all... More
