Hangover food

My parents and I were in the area for another event and we were out the night prior. Of course not waking up to get the free food I looked for a place within walking distance to where we were staying. The Sunroom was easy to spot from the street with its bright yellow overhang. It is up one... read more

On a recent trip to the UW Madison Campus we were told that the Sunroom Café had very good food. We stopped by for a late lunch and really enjoyed this second floor restaurant. The selection of food was on the healthier side We had soup and a few sandwiches and were very happy with all of the choices. The... More

I ate here for breakfast again (in 2015). This was a mainstay during my years at Wisconsin in grad school in the early 1990s, and I eat here every time I'm in town (esp since 2011). Little has changed - and that's a good thing. The food is as fresh and good as ever, the staff is friendly and helpful... More

This charming little café offers original sandwiches, soups, salads, breakfast plates, teas, coffees, and baked goods. It's all pretty much done in-house and the kitchen is conscious of choosing healthy coop products. The prices are right and the atmosphere is classic and simple. An excellent place to warm up and recover on a chilly fall day.

Though small, the Sunroom Cafe has a nice selection of brunch-related items to satisfy everyone's palette. The portions are good and tasty. The service is a bit slow (more like a family-run business than a bustling commercial enterprise) but if you're looking for a nice local experience on campus, the Sunroom Cafe is a good choice.

Excellent food, good sized portions. Six of us ate, and the the bill totaled $68.00. Our order included Mexican burrito with salsa and guacamole, egg whites, blueberry pancakes, French toast, fruit plate, whole wheat pancakes, and potatoes. Very fresh and served hot within 10 minutes of ordering. We ate everything, including the three children who are picky eaters. The restaurant... More

Located on the second floor above State Street, this small cafe serves breakfast that was very tasty. Another patron ordered the fruit plate and it was big enough for 2-4 people! We had the ham and cheese omelet, hash browns, and toast. Not a "wow" meal, but good food and good value.

This cafe is popular among students. We visited on a Sunday morning before the line formed. If there is a line, I don't think it's worth the wait. It's just an average breakfast in a worn cafe.

I usually go there on saturdays or sundays for the brunch (usually you need to wait between 20 to 30 min to be served is the place is too full). The food is very tasty and the portions are good to get you satisfied till a mid- afternoon ice cream. If you do not like salty food, tell the server:... More

Nice cafe with many vegetarian options. Very clean. Order at the counter and food is brought out to you. Bus your own table.
