Saturday night we were looking for a place to eat in downtown Madison without a reservation. We were turned away from restaurants that had empty tables and no lines of people waiting to get in. Then we saw Delmonico's and they said sure we can accommodate you at a booth in the bar. We ate the best steak and hash... More

Had a great lunch at this restaurant. The location is great and the room is very nice. The food was above average, but not spectacular. I would definately visit again.

After spending a wedding weekend filled with bar food, this place was exactly what our foodie crowd needed. The waitress was top notch - she was amazing at her job, funny, friendly, and fabulous. The wine was delicious, but a tad overpriced. The food was by far the best that I experienced in Madison. Was it the best steak of... More

I did, so I have no one to blame but myself. But really, this is supposed to be fine dining and they serve frozen fish. Halibut that is dry and crumbly should never leave the kitchen. Woody asparagus should never leave the kitchen. C'mon people you need to be better than that.

We hit the trifecta! My party of 8 found this place, had a wonderful meal, with service much better than the usual, with white table cloth, the usual extras you find in an expensive steak place. My party had two bottles of good wine, with tip it was just short of $900.

A great, intimate restaurant. Wonderfully attentive staff and fabulous food. We had the cedar planked salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Every bite was delicious, and thankfully NO garlic in the potatoes. Additionally, a party near our table had a terribly finicky diner. The waitperson was incredibly patient and went so far as to have the manager and the chef... More

We went for lunch & it was a smaller menu, but all excellent choices! I ordered the lobster mac & cheese which was rich & savory. My partner ordered the steak frites with hash browns, which was also great, perfectly seasoned & marinated. We got a molten lava cake for desert & it was good. Others around us seemed to... More

I visited my daughter in Madison tonight to treat her to a nice meal. She chose Delmonico's. Neither of us had been here before. We had a great table location and very good service. Our wedge salads were very good. However, my Ahi tuna was just average and my daughter's New York Strip was also just average. I expected better... More

Fantastic steak, great service. Cocktails and wine are very nice too. Not cheap, but quality. Very busy on Saturday evening, best to book in advance.

I've eaten here many times over the years . Took family for graduation on Saturday night . had to wait one hour past reservation time for table.. Staff extremely rude. Food barely edible. Many better choices in Madison.....I will never go back
