A Nice Restaruant Week Experience

We visited Harvest on Friday night of restaurant week and enjoyed our meals. The favorite appetizer was the watermelon soup. For entrees, we enjoyed the trout, but our friends liked the beef choice very much. The best dessert was the hazelnut mousse. The service was quite good except coffee was not offered with the dessert. We ate in the back... More

At the end of a long day on the trails, my wife and I wanted a local, fresh meal to refuel. We found exactly that at Harvest. Amazing pairings in each dish, no shortage of vegetarian options, and clean preparation that exudes the local flare of farm to fork. From Door county cherries to local ramps and mushrooms, it's all... More

I went with friends for a birthday celebration but we left a bit overwhelmed given the reviews and price. The complimentary mint pea soup was ... well... minty. Our scallop starter was divine, so that was the exception. Everyone's entrees were just a bit ... bland or boring, not sure which. Service was great.

My wife and I went here for New Year's and had a great meal. The service was very attentive and the food was delicious but it's hard for me to justify paying the price they charge. This isn't to say that I would consider it a rip off, just that I can't afford this level of finery on a weekly... More

While we were offered a seat immediately, it was clear that they were understaffed and overwhelmed with a large party in their adjoining space. The soup they offered was tasty, but it was presented inconsistently--in that some of us had lukewarm soup, others had cold soup. We ended up filling up on frites and bread waiting for our meals--we were... More

Walked in at 7:30 Friday night, gave us a table near the window, had wine, Trout and desert. Food was perfect, service was impeccable. Liked it so much we came back Saturday. Perfect again. Nice job.

We went there on Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend. It was disappointing. We ordered the trout- the presentation was plain, nothing special about the seasoning. Portions were small and over-priced. My girlfriend and I made use of the restrooms-- we had to wait in line, outside of the kitchen/wait area, giving us a full view into the kitchen. I... More

I had not been to Harvest for awhile because of inconsistent experiences. I was very pleased with this visit. We had a great view of the Capitol. Service was unpretentious and unobtrusive, but yet diligent. Wine selection was very nice. I had the trout entree which was perfectly prepared and uncompromisingly fresh. Dessert was wonderful. Prices are reasonable for a... More
