Food was great

The food was great, but the service was really slow. I think we just got a bad server, so I would go back because the food was really good. The atmosphere was nice, not too large or noisy- there was a small bar in the back. I ordered the salad and Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly- Medium... read more

We ate here during a Madison restaurant special so we were able to try three appetizers for $15--fun way to try new things. We tried seafood ceviche, red corn beignets, and Spanish tortilla. All were great. We all tried the grilled steak of the day which was a hangar steak. It was yummy! My friend drank a half bottle of... More

I had a wonderful meal and, though far from the ocean, two wonderful fish dishes. Each was unique, a bit unexpected, but delicious. I started the meal with what was billed as a lobster bisque. It was a light preparation, flavorful, but without the heaviness of a traditional bisque. Lobster was finely cut, no big chunks. The broth was the... More

After reading all the recent negative reviews, I had second thoughts about Harvest, but had already made our reservations on the strength of their menu. We were NOT disappointed! Service was fast and professional, even though the place was packed. The courses came in good time. The amuse-bouche was a tiny serving of a beet and cream purée which kept... More

From appetizers, to salad and soup, to steak, this was an excellent meal. The bar is well stocked especially for a bourbon drinker, and the service was exceptional.

Visited again hoping things would be better on 11/09/2014. Went for the special truffle and wine paring dinner. I think the service for these theme dinners is exceptional (but for regular dinging as in my past review...not so good) as well as the wine parings. The food, although some patrons were raving about it, was not. The ribeye on my... More

We visited Harvest last night and it was delightful. We shared the scallops appetizer. So yummy carmellized floating in a lovely sauce. We both had the salmon that was served with beets, mushrooms and artichoke hearts with a great horseradish butter sauce. Dessert was an assortment of local cheeses picked out early in our meal so they were a perfect... More

Interesting food - I ordered scallop appetizer which was excellent and a pate wrap which was very good. Good wine list.

We arranged a birthday dinner for a family member in the second floor room overlooking the Capitol Square. The evening began with hors d'oeuvres and drinks in another upstairs space, a hidden gem with gracious staircases and a large skylight. Two servers offered drinks while another circulated with a tray of hors d'oeuvres. They kindly offered to take pictures of... More

We went here for an enjoyable night out and had to find that elsewhere. The wait staff was arguing loudly near the kitchen, we were seated in a nearly empty restaurant and no servers came for 15 minutes. I asked for a surprise bottle of champagne as we entered, 15 minutes later they came to the table announcing the choice... More
