We visited for lunch. We were promptly seated and were quickly brought water and menus. We opted for Chicken Pad Thai and the daily special (Shrimp with carrots, broccoli, cauliflower in a peanut sauce). Both selections were very good. The chicken in the Pad Thai was tender. Also included was bamboo shoots, onion, tofu and cilantro. We love cilantro and... More

Our soup was room temp, the pot stickers were undercooked and the Pad Thai tasted like nothing I have ever had before, and I have eaten Pad Thai all over the world. My son had Lad Nar Kee M with chicken, it was at least hot, but it did not taste well. I big waste of money, I should have... More

A friend recommended Sa Bai last week. I checked out the reviews and was a little apprehensive. I've had great Thai food (a little bit of an aficionado). I am glad I did. Actually had two meals there the same day. Almost all Thai staffed. My waiter knew immediately what I wanted when I requested my dish "pet mock" (Thai... More

A WASTE OF $45 DOLLARS.... NEVER AGAIN!!!! They fudged my order in three different ways... Made me wait over an hour... questioned if I knew what I ordered... Had to double check with the young girl who didn't understand what the difference between a Thai iced tea and coffee... who also made a big deal about me adding another order... More

Well, we haven't had THAT much Thai food in our lives - so I'm no expert. BUT, I will give my honest opinion on the food we did receive. We ordered the Chive Dumplings as an appetizer $3.95 and you only get 2 of them. They are pretty small, and can be eaten in 2 bites - yes they are... More

I work in Madison about once a month and I try to go to Sa Bai Thong every time. There are lots of good restaurants in Madison, so that tells you just how outstanding this restaurant is. Their food is amazing! The noodles must be homemade. Everything is fresh and perfectly spiced. Curries are flavorful and full of top-quality ingredients.... More

We went in there for lunch, our server basically only took our order and never talked to us again. When we were done eating we couldn't find anyone to get us a to go box, when we finally did and got our box and were ready to go, we sat there with our dirty plates for a good 10 mins... More

Thai food is hard to find where we're from, so this place was a special treat for us. The Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee were both exquisite, as were our entrees and appetizers. Our waitress made excellent suggestions and she described the various dishes so that we could make a selection we would enjoy. We were also able... More

I've been to both the downtown and west side locations. Decent Thai food. I like that Sa-Bai Thong offers more appetizers than most Asian restaurants. I especially enjoyed the Shrimp Purse. Their entree menu was already pretty extensive, but I've only tried the noodle dishes and haven't ventured out further. The staple Thai favorites -- Pad Thai and the Pad-Z... More

I like a little spiciness every once in a while and so both my wife and I can get a great lunch at just the right heat! I don't think that I have a particular favorite but I enjoy the noodle dishes and they have a wide variety!
