Ordered dan-dan noodle and buns. Buns tasted ok, but nothing special. The dan-dan noodle was awful. It had no taste. The ingredients might be placed nicely on top of the noodle nicely. They don't mix well with the noodle. The price is also higher than normal, even though it is in a mall. (Compared to what you paid at Hong... More

Good dumplings but not filling enough. Seems expensive and had to eat afterwards. I've had drinks and several dumpling types. Perhaps i should try the noodles or buns... Nice they offer beer, wine, and sake.

Dumpling Haus is a great place to go for soup, pot sticker, and dim sung. It is one of the best restaurants in Hilldale Mall and a great place to take a break from shopping or get a bite to eat before a movie at the nearby Sundance Theater. My wife and I visit on a regular basis and are... More

This place is ridiculously good. We live in Iowa but are Badger season tix holders. Try to go each weekend we're in Madtown. Yum! Tart cabbage and shredded pork noodles, exquisite. Peanut butter noodles, delish. Dumplings = all good. Great lil place.

This continues to be a nice place to stop for a quick lunch or late afternoon snack - it's in the middle of Hilldale mall and I've found the dumplings to be very fresh and enjoyable. Worth checking out if you haven't tried this before. Place is clean and efficient!

They have the best dumplings around! Very fresh and authentic for a wonderful price! We had the sample plate. It was surprisingly good! We also had the shrimp and the pork dumplings. The dough was paper thin!

This is very solid, flavorful Asian food at a fair price - not at all what you would expect in a mall - and when it arrives it's steaming hot having just finished cooking (they don't wait, but it's hot enough you may have to - I kid you not). Shrimp dumplings are a very strong offering along with very... More

Our lunch of Jiao Xi (pork steamed dumplings) and Edamame was very good. Prepared well with excellent flavors. We received 10 dumplings for $9. Based on the quality, a good value. I don't agree with the 'overpriced' reviews. We visit frequently. You will not be disappointed in the variety and quality.

The theme of this review is that DumplingHaus is overpriced, but the idea is smart. DumplingHaus, as its name implies, offers a variety of Chinese dumplings and baozi (a larger type of steamed dumpling with thicker skin). The Chinese dumplings are around $8-$10 for around 8-10 dumplings. That's a dollar each. These are literally the same dumplings you can get... More
