Worth the cab ride

I took a cab ride from Capital Square because I wanted to check out the brewery and didn't rent a car. It was about a $20 cab ride each way. The beer was very good. I especially liked the Jinja Ninja beer. The tater tots were good and the food overall was good. I had a chicken sandwhich. The... read more

Had a hard time deciding what to eat because everything sounded so good. Prices are on the higher side but so are the portions, I could only eat half of my meatball sandwich! My husband really enjoyed his pastrami, also eating only half. Very good beer, too, and Jose our waiter was terrific!

Everything about this restaurant was a great experience - the only reason it is getting 4 instead of 5 rating is our server forgot about us and bringing left over containers (I know, picky, picky, picky). We all had different entrees/sandwiches, two of us had more than enough left over for another meal. The menu has some unique offerings (salmon... More

When it comes to brewpubs, the Vintage is my favorite in Madison! Both my wife and I love the food, the service is usually great, and the beer - granted I love good ales - is wonderful. A few recommendations - as far as the appetizers go, the pretzels are a great choice. My wife ordered them one time and... More

They got us in super quickly which was much appreciated! The food was just aight .In particular the beet salad was needlessly sweet. We didn't have any beers on tap as the group was either GF or wine drinkers but I hear good things. Nice enough atmosphere. Good for larger groups. Good service.

Have been here many times..and always had good service and good food....this was not exception on this evening. Beer is made on sight and have a night variety of different styles and tastes...find one you like and go with... More

Went first time and returned two Days later! Both the brews and the food are very good. Outdoor seating nice but could be noisy. Salmon blt was great as was the smoked brisket! They prepare all the meats and most all the food from scratch there. Several really excellent beers as well.

The Pastrami AGo-Go was awesome. The hamburger was first rate (the beef is from Knoche's so that is no surprise!). The curd's were a good appetizer for two... oh and a micro-brewed beer... :)

The food was okay, not the best for the price you pay. The drinks were average. It has a good atmosphere and great service. Great for beer drinkers.
