A+ Restaurant

Could be argued to be our best. I'd say second, but I won't quibble about it. Great, interesting food, award winning pastry chef, good selection of wines by glass and half-liter if you don't want a bottle. I've never been unhappy there. You won't be either.

Menu was limited with appetizers, entrees and desserts. No soups or salads. Good thing we were not hungry because portions are small. If you are hungry, must get an appetizer. Food served warm, not hot. I had pork, average, potatoes over salted. Husband and friend had rigatoncini, just average. Another friend with risotto, probably the best of the three entrees.

We had a lovely dinner with cocktails at Nostrano. Claire was a wonderful server with timely delivery and excellent presentation of our courses. The celery root soup is not to be missed. Thoughtful although brief wine list. Elegant cocktails. Beautiful space. Highly recommend.

The food was so good! The foccocia bread served with olives was a delicious appetizer. The menu changes, but the pork dish and the lamb rigatoni were excellent. Our server was exceptionally good. The hostess needs to find another job; she appears to dislike the one she has.

I ate at Nostrano with friends last weekend and had a really so so experience. We have eaten there before and always had a good time and great food but this time not so much. The menus were dirty and grease stained, the flowers wilting and our server exuded no joy, warmth, humor or enthusiasm. Although the food we did... More

one of my worst dining experiences ever! way overpriced and terrible service. Our meal took over two hours. I had the braised shortribs ($29)...honestly I thought it was a piece of corned beef. but the worst part was our waiter. He never cleared the appetizer plates from the table and left our dinner dishes on the table as well for... More

My partner had duck ragu, rich and comforting. Then a great desert ice cram, caramel and crunchy cake. very good we will be back with friends, How did I... More

ambiance OK, service OK but not outstanding. If I have to pay for bread (which I resent) it should be really special--this was average. nothing really to complain about but nothing to draw me back. Maybe I am spoiled by the quality of restaurants in bigger cities but this was just OK and sort of a Yawn

Nostrano Restaurant is top notch in every way. Greeted very warmly and seated right away even though we were a few minutes early for our 6:30 reservation. Server, Oceanna, was very pleasant and very knowledgeable about menu offerings. Wine, beer, and cocktail menu gave us many choices. All three courses of our meals were presented attractively and were absolutely delicious.... More
