Four of us went here a week ago, and only 3 other tables were seated. Things started out OK with the baguette and date appetizer. A followup salad was also good. We have been here several times. The first couple of times the food was excellent. The last couple times, it was just OK. Appetizer stuffed dates tasted old and dry. Hen dish overcooked. Noise level, as seems to be the "in-thing" is very loud.

I appreciate value and the quality/price equation works at 43 North. Innovative menu without going off the deep end of exotic. The addition last year of small plates/large plates has made it so much easier to be adventuresome with your dining companions. went with our son a winter graduate u w madison, nice drink selections, the service, food and atmosphere were wonderful, prices are reasonable for the high quality food, it's a really good resturant we'll be back!
