Delicious, Creamy Ice Creams

OMG I am IN LOVE with the Bourbon Butter Pecan ice cream! Went to have some every chance I could get away from my hubby though I suspect when I was in meeting during the day, he was sneaking over there too! Nice, friendly staff. Ice cream was so so delicious!

I think this is the best Ice Cream in all of Madison. I know that a lot of people like other places, but their ice cream is very creamy and super delicious. We had Yippie Skippy, which is vanilla ice cream with carmel, pretzel, and other flavors. Super delicious and very creamy. we had the ice cream on a chocolate... More

This ice cream shop located on State Street has to compete with Coldstone, a gelato place, and Babcock ice cream, a product of UW. It holds up well to all. An extensive variety of tasty, interesting flavors, competitive prices, and good service makes this an ice cream shop to,return to frequently.

We stopped here for dessert after dinner. There are a lot of flavors to choose from. I had a cone and my wife had a shake, and it was $10. This seemed a bit on the high side to me, but the ice cream was great and the servers friendly!

Great flavours and lovely service. I wish they would open this place in my home town! Worth the short drive from the centre.

Had this at the brat fest and tried out there chocolate raspberry truffle. Wow, I didn't think the raspberry would be so pronounced! I loved the creamy chocolate with hits of raspberry flavor!

This is the kind of ice cream I would expect in Wisconsin! It's reasonably priced, but the best part was they have a gluten done. My son was beyond excited. It had been years since he could have a cone!

We've gone to the Chocolate Shoppe many, many years. It's really good ice cream and there's all kinds of creative and tasty choices. My favorite is Zanzamint -- a dark chocolate and mint swirl. They also have frozen yogurt and ices, as well as all kinds of floats, shakes, and ice cream desserts.

Based on reviews that I had read, I was expecting, at the very least, very good ice cream and perhaps even excellent ice cream. Well, it was merely good. It was kind of a disappointment, as we passed at least two other ice cream parlors that seemed busier than The Chocolate Shoppe. It makes me wonder if I'd have been... More
