We enjoyed a few handmade delectable goodies on a recent summer visit. The doughnut, cupcake, and pastry that we sampled were delicious. You'll find what I would consider unique offerings not found in mainstream bakeries. The food is made with care and attention to detail. We noticed a baker mixing dough and proofing a few loaves.

Bloom is located in downtown Middleton not Madison. The caramel brownie and cupcake were heavenly. Decadent, moist and prepared with care and love. Local ingredients when possible and vegan and gluten free options. Best cupcake we have had in the Madison area. Connected to a charming novelty shop. Only one small table inside.

Stopped in with a friend one afternoon and after much discussion decided on the "Beet Cupcake." It was just amazing! Fresh and moist and incredible tasty. We chatted with one of the women working there who said they like to use produce in their baking, and this is definitely a reason why. Friendly staff and cute store conveniently located next... When Bloom opened over 4 years ago, I remember telling my wife that there was no way that a high end cupcake shop was going to make it in downtown Middleton. Now I'm ready to eat my words and some more of Bloom's delicious deserts. There deserts are not your typical grocery store cupcakes or even those you might find... More

We ordered a WISCONSIN and a HOMEGROWN sandwich, made to order, lemon curd and almond/raspberry cupcakes, and a salted caramel brownie to go (we were celebrating a birthday). So we had the sandwiches for breakfast, nibbled at the brownie at noon, and had the cupcakes for dessert at supper time. Everything was delicious. Bloom Bake Shop, we will be back.

Everything is good! But the brownies! OMGosh the brownies! Try the salted caramel brownie for sure! There's also some sidewalk tables perfect for having your goodies, conversation and people watching.

We stopped last Friday morning and had delicious breakfast sandwiches. I had the Wisconsin which was an egg, cheese, bacon on a fluffy buttermilk biscuit - Yum! My wife tried the Homegrown which is a vegan/gluten free sandwich that she thoroughly enjoyed!

If you find yourself in Middleton Bloom Bake Shop must be in the plan. I love cupcakes Blooms icing is unforgettable. In fact I am thinking of it now. I got the very vanilla and it was that. Yum yum yum. Next time I am in Wisconsin I know one place I am definitely going. Bloom Bake Shop.

Whenever visiting the Madison area I somehow end up stopping by Bloom. It's great to have a small shop where you can get great vegan baked goods. They taste great and the staff is really friendly.
