Love coming here on those chilly days when you just want a big bowl of clam chowder. It is really good. I am tempted at times to ask for a bowl to take home. The fish and chips are also pretty good. Certainly a favorite of ours.

Before we first visited Joey's, I had almost given up on finding a good, generally inexpensive seafood restaurant in Madison. It has since become our go-to place for Friday fish fries, as well as all things seafood. All meals come out fresh & hot, and I have yet to find anything I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Nice local beer selection as... More

Ordered the coconut shrimp - delicious. Loved the tiny cornbread muffins too. The mashed potatoes were just the right amount of buttery creamy goodness.

We stopped for lunch and they weren't busy. I ordered the clam platter, served with corn muffins, coleslaw and fries. The fries were the best part of the platter. The clams were small 'nugget's and over cooked. Neither of us cared for the coleslaw. Companion had the haddock. Which was good but really greasy. I have to be honest, Red... More

Seafood bisque was good, $10. Midday crableg special was fresh tasty 1/2 lb. Service was OUTSTANDING! Shuttle from Radisson Hotel convenient, but is within safe walking distance. Lots to see and shop in the area. Love love the aquarium!!!

The food was great! I had a sampler and my husband had the fish fry. Everything tasted great and we each had to take leftovers home with us. The warm muffins to start off with are so good. This is the second time we've been back in the past couple months.

For a seafood restaurant, this one is disappointing. They're fresh selections are very limited for serving only seafood. They could truly make this an exceptionally good restaurant if they put a little more flair and pizzazz into their dishes. If you want just a fish fry and french fries this is your kind of place.

Once again, we left Joeys completely satisfied! We had mouthwatering crab legs. Our server, Andrew, had our seconds (and thirds) hot n ready. Our drinks were always full, and he did it all with a smile. We drive 55 miles to this restaurant because it's that good! Want reliable service and great tasting food? I like Joey's for lunch or any early dinner but if I want to go out to eat for dinner it might not be Joey's. The ambiance is more for a lunch crowd. I like the lights a little dimmer for dinner. The food is consistently good.
